Erin, a student at South Dakota State University in Brookings, told Students for Life about her experience at a Planned Parenthood clinic when she discovered she was pregnant.
“When they told me I was pregnant they only gave me abortion options,” she said. Erin, who is married and said her pregnancy was planned, received three pamphlets explaining abortion options, but no information about parenting or adoption.
When Planned Parenthood talks about protecting a woman’s right to “choose,” what they really mean is they want more women to choose to have abortions. It’s a profitable business model. Planned Parenthood has raked in over $500 million in in profits over the last nine years, with 37% of their income revenue coming from abortions. No wonder they give awards for increasing the number of abortions.
Fortunately, Erin and her husband didn’t take Planned Parenthood’s advice and she went on to give birth to a beautiful baby boy.
