This story goes like this. Erik Finman got a $1,000 gift from his grandmother a couple of years ago. He invested all of it in Bitcoin. Bitcoin took off, and for him, it really took off. His $1,000 became worth a whole lot more and he sold it for $100,000. Getting in early tends to make a difference.
With that money, Finman turned around and launched a company — Botangle.com. Botangle offers tutoring in a whole lot of subjects over video chat. You can learn how to cook. You can learn about graphic design. You can learn French from someone who lives in Paris. Or you can learn how to start a business from Erik Finman. No kidding. He’s one of Botangle’s experts. He also knows a bit about robotics.
You can also offer yourself as a tutor and maybe get hired by somebody out there and make some money. You just have to give Botangle a cut of your fee. Basically, Finman brings people who want to learn something together with people who want to teach something.
Finman says he has a deal with his parents. If he makes $1,000,000 by the time he’s 18, he doesn’t have to go to college. If he succeeds, he’ll probably end up turning Botangle into a college.
