This morning, as website ConservativeIntel reported, Mozilla has been receiving a firestorm of negative feedback on the resignation by the CTO turned CEO, Brendan Eich.

This morning, I sent a query to the Mozilla press email, with these questions:

I’d like a comment from you on the overwhelming negative response to the Eich resignation now on the Firefox feedback page. (At my last look, it appears to be 95 percent “sad”.)

  • Will Mozilla reconsider accepting Mr Eich’s resignation?
  • Does Mozilla have any current statistics on the market share impact of Firefox uninstalls following the Eich resignation?
  • A number of people have now pointed out that Chairwoman Baker’s statement that “We welcome contributions from everyone regardless of age, culture, ethnicity, gender, gender-identity, language, race, sexual orientation, geographical location and religious views” rings rather hollow in view of the Eich affair. Does Chairwoman Baker, or Mozilla as an organization, have any comment on the apparent contradiction? And does Mozilla as an organization intend to take any steps to ensure that this policy applies even to people who hold traditional religious beliefs or conservative political values?

A Mozilla spokesperson replied:

While we appreciate you reaching out, at this time, Mozilla is not doing any more interviews on the topic. For more information, you can reference Mozilla’s blog post from Mitchell on the topic: https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2014/04/03/brendan-eich-steps-down-as-mozilla-ceo/

"We will emerge from this with a renewed understanding and humility — our large, global, and diverse community is what makes Mozilla special, and what will help us fulfill our mission. We are stronger with you involved." So says Mitchell Baker, Executive Chairwoman of Mozilla.

Now that their mission has had some clarification, they should welcome members of their "diverse community" to help them investigate and identify any other Mozilians who are less than sympathetic to homosexuals. I suggest they would get the most results fastest by identifying any Muslims who are involved with Mozilla and purging them as quickly as possible, including publicizing their identities so that other organizations can avoid the embarrassment and shame of accidentally hiring known haters of gays.

Mozilla should realize the urgency of doing this when they, much to their amazement I'm sure, find out that Muslims not only oppose gays marrying, but support the death penalty for merely being gay.

Mozilla, your work is cut out for you - get cracking! There is no time to waste, there are no lives to spare, when the righteous jihad against anti-homosexualty issues its clear and clarion call! I realize that you believe that you would be stronger with my involvement, but I'm afraid that I am unable to support your mission.

Brave Firefox ran away
Bravely ran away
When the Gaystapo reared it's fascist head
Firefox bravely turned it's tail and fled
Yes, brave Firefox threw free speech out
And gallantly it completely chickened out
Bravely taking to it's feet
It beat a very brave retreat
Bravest of the braaaave, Firefox!

It's California: You cannot fire people for practicing their lawful fundamental civil rights, unless you want a wrongful termination lawsuit and the resultant judicial pillaging of your deep corporate pockets. I'm sure Gloria Alred is already on the case--she does take males doesn't she?

If Mozilla can use its "corporate morality" to justify its decision to fire Eich, why cannot Hobby Lobby use its to justify refusal to pay for abortion-inducing drugs?

I'm no techie but for political reasons before this ugly act of bigotry and oppression I was already ignoring Google as a search engine. One reason being the billionaire turds who discovered altruism through the debased Democrat party.

Google is the enemy: "In 2006 the Mozilla Corporation generated 66.8 million dollars in revenue and 19.8 million in expenses, with 85% of that revenue coming from Google for "assigning [Google] as the browser's default search engine, and for click-throughs on ads placed on the ensuing search results pages." My bet is Eich was told to step down by Google... and the NSA, FBI, IRS (pick one).

I say we call them what they really are: anti-Christian bigots with more than a whiff of Fascism. Strong talk? The Left has gotten away with accusing conservatives of "fascism" while being completely ignorant of the true meaning of the label. Start pushing "bigot" and "fascist" in their faces. Make them defend themselves for a change.

Mozilla may have been on the way down anyway. Perhaps they did Eich a favor without knowing it.

What's the residential address of Mitchell Baker?

Why? If your intent is to make a personal appearance or to urge others to do so, I think it's wrong. It's a leftist tactic to do this kind of thing and intimidate family members, and it's wrong. Even if it's to send intimidating mail, it's still wrong.

If I'm off the mark here, then please ignore. Although I can't think of any other reason why you'd be interested in her home address. This is a business thing. Leave her home and family out of it.

No this is war. If we are going to win this war we have to be willing to do the dirty work.

They showed up at AIG employees' homes right? Stop bringing a nerf bat to a gunfight.
