Great Odin's Raven! MD Gov. Martin O'Malley Has a Ron Burgundy Moment

Anchorman Ron Burgundy will read literally anything you put on his teleprompter. No matter what. “Anything you put on that prompter, Burgundy will read!”

Apparently Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley has a similar problem. During a speech Thursday, O’Malley was humming along until he got to a bit of stage direction in his script on the prompter.

Protip: You’re not supposed to read “Conclusion” aloud.

O’Malley is frequently cited among the Democrats’ 2016 hopefuls, but Maryland’s Obamacare debacles have already threatened his viability. Earning a reputation for being a less entertaining form of Ron Burgundy won’t help.
