UPDATE: The Abbott campaign just emailed me to clarify the numbers. The Davis campaign raised $8.5 million, the rest comes from Battleground Texas.

UPDATE at 5:50 p.m.: Wendy Davis, the leading Democratic contender for governor, announced Tuesday that her campaign and a joint effort with a Democratic voter turnout group raised more than $12.2 million for the race.

I tend to agree with Gabe. Davis has a lot of high profile support from liberal media and entertainment types which is translating into donations from around the country but won’t turn into votes.

She has strength among the anti-black, racist democrats. How else can a bigot support the continued butchery of black babies than by backing the candidacy of a pro-abortion female democrat?

As with ObamaCare sign-ups, there are touted numbers and then what you actually collect. All has to be filed with your Secretary of State, right?

Its all about just 2 things: raising money to create a political nest egg for when Wendy moves to DC and gets some gig with Clinton 45 White House.
And creating a photogenic abortion Barbie to use nationwide as the face of the demos war on women.
Really, does anyone believe this lightweight could be Governor of Texas?
