Okay, okay, we get it: Republicans (still) don’t like the health-care law. But can’t they talk about anything else? “We know what happened with the effort to defund Obamacare,” Jennifer Steinhauer of the New York Times pointed out. “Do you think you have a better environment to do something? And what is the specific legislative strategy at this point?”
Why yes, there is a better environment now to do something, because this thing gets exponentially worse by the day. The reason that the MSM is so desperate to have the Republicans look away (and why The Idiot King attempted to pivot to immigration today) is that they know that Obamacare is vulnerable to attack and will continue to be for a while.
Whether Republican leadership takes advantage of this opportunity or merely sticks to form and discusses the best way to look the gift horse in the mouth remains to be seen.
The monstrously ill-conceived law most definitely should remain the main topic of political conversation, however.
