There are few things more pathetic and loathsome than American citizens who excuse the inherently murderous behavior of Islamic fundamentalists with American foreign policy. When an American who is very high profile expresses such a sentiment on September 11th, he becomes one of the most despicable creatures in the land.

Rand Paul has had a fairly good few months and obviously is positioning himself for 2016. He has some serious daddy issues, however, and these should be resolved sooner rather than later if he is going to have a real shot.
