Maybe this is why Obama is pivoting to jobs again. His pivot to race backfired right out of the barrel.

Like responses to the George Zimmerman verdict itself, voters give the Obama administration mixed reviews for its reaction to the outcome of the Trayvon Martin case. But voters share President Obama’s concern about racial profiling.

Thirty-three percent (33%) of Likely U.S. Voters now rate the way the administration has responded to the Zimmerman verdict as good or excellent, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Slightly more (38%) view the administration’s response as poor.

Obama’s impact on race relations has been terrible, according to that NBC/WSJ poll cited earlier. Politico writes it up:

Only 52 percent of whites and 38 percent of blacks have a favorable opinion of race relations in the country, according to the poll, which has tracked race relations since 1994 and was conducted in mid-July by Hart Research Associations and Public Opinion Strategies.

That’s a sharp drop from the beginning of Obama’s first term, when 79 percent of whites and 63 percent of blacks held a favorable view of American race relations.

Negative views on race relations have also increased substantially. According to the poll [pdf], 45 percent of whites and 58 percent African-Americans now believe race relations are very or fairly bad, compared with 2009, when  only 20 percent of whites and 30 percent of blacks held an unfavorable view.

Obama came to power promising to be a post-racial president, but he has governed as a most-racial president. Trayvon could’ve been his son, until that line didn’t work, and then Trayvon became Obama himself. Even though as a mixed-race man and son of an immigrant, Obama has more in common with George Zimmerman than he had with Trayvon Martin.

None of this is by accident. Obama divides to win, and he and the Democrats use every excuse to pin opposition to his policies on raaaacism, not the fact that his policies are terrible. They know what they’re doing.

By the way, why is it that Zimmerman’s white half gets all the play in the media, while Obama’s white half is all but forgotten?

Yeah, I know the answer. The two mens’ white halves live and die at the convenience of the president and the media, and the media’s narratives.

So most people think obamas speech on the zimmerman trial is garbage. But I thought everybody at the MSM was telling us that it was one of obamas greatest speeches in history. But I forget, to the MSM any of obamas speeches is the greatest he has ever given in history.

Here's a full throttle take on the Racialist-in-Chief's contrived response to Zimmerman's acquittal - http://adinakutnicki.com/2013/07/21/on-behalf-of-tray-race-wars-ignited-in-americas-citiescourtesy-of-obama-incs-shock-troops-white-teens-murdered-in-the-crossfire-will-ag-holder-investigate-given-the-part-he-played-co/

Does it get any more evil than having a POTUS who incites to mayhem, even as he opines that he only wants national healing? Does a snake in the grass resonate, and are his true Alinskyite colors resonating? Hope so.

For that, and so much more, way past time to impeach this scoundrel!

• Dear Mr. President, Ever been a 17yo white boy from Jersey wearing a Grateful Dead concert t-shirt (Halloween at the Garden – Fab!) and purple tinted prescription glasses and gotten off at the wrong subway station and ended up lost in Harlem one day? Did the police race their patrol car up inches from you on the sidewalk in, jump out attack you and throw you into a brick wall and pound you head into it, throw you to the ground kneeing you hard in the spine while they handcuffed you nice and tight then force you to stand with the handcuffs while YELLING in you face spraying you with their spit “WHAT THE F^CK ARE YOU DOING HERE?” Huh? Have you??? I didn’t think so And when they and I realized it was all a misunderstanding (I wasn’t there to buy drugs) we laughed it off while they gave me a ride to the nearest subway station and then patted me on the back and shook my hand? Huh? Have you? YOU’RE WHITE BOY, IT DOESN’T MATTER. Well, ya got that right sir. Amen.

Did any of you watch or listen to what Obama said? What specifically did he say that was so awful for the "race-baiter-in-chief"? Obama commented on a topic that is front and center in our society today in terms that were deeply personal. What was he supposed to say? "Most racial president? A funny tagline but meaningless. Please Mr. Preston, what should the President of the United States said about this situation that would have made you happy?

Oh, yeah, one more thing.

Maybe he could have, you know, discouraged the death threats against Zimmerman, his family, and the jury?

Maybe just a little?

I mean, he IS kinda supposed to be on the side of law and order, isn't he?

Isn't he?

He didn't need to say anything at all. That worked for him on the Gosnell trial, didn't it?

What was he supposed to say???

How about something like:

"The jury reached the correct verdict. This case was not about race. Martin didn't die because he was black, he died because he was a thug who attacked someone without any legal or moral justification, and he tried to kill that person. George Zimmerman was fully justified in using his gun to defend himself, and if Martin had been white, nobody would have questioned that.

In spite of these facts, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are fomenting racial hatred and in doing so, are harming the black community. They are undermining the dream of Martin Luther King. Both of them, and all those who support them, are the racists in this saga and the black community need to reject such obvious race-bating."

That would have worked.

amazing that he got that high a percentage that thinks his response was good. But then there is stupid, and there is low information, and then there are dems/blacks and race hustlers.

33%? That's progress! According to the 2012 election results, 53% of the country was critically stupid only 8 months or so ago.
