Isn’t this interesting?

The offices of a Dallas law firm representing a high-profile State Department whistleblower were broken into last weekend. Burglars stole three computers and broke into the firm’s file cabinets. But silver bars, video equipment and other valuables were left untouched, according to local Fox affiliate KDFW, which aired security camera footage of the suspected burglars entering and leaving the offices around the time of the incident.

The firm Schulman & Mathias represents Aurelia Fedenisn, a former investigator at the State Department’s Office of the Inspector General. In recent weeks, she raised a slew of explosive allegations against the department and its contractors ranging from illicit drug use, soliciting sexual favors from minors and prostitutes and sexual harassment.

“It’s a crazy, strange and suspicious situation,” attorney Cary Schulman told The Cable. “It’s clear to me that it was somebody looking for information and not money. My most high-profile case right now is the Aurelia Fedenisn case, and I can’t think of any other case where someone would go to these great lengths to get our information.”

According to the KDFW report, the firm was the only suite burglarized in the high-rise office building and an unlocked office adjacent was left untouched.

The State Department’s paid spinner, Jen Psaki, has issued this interesting denial.

“Any allegation that the Department of State authorized someone to break into Mr. Schulman’s law firm is false and baseless,” spokeswoman Jen Psaki said.

What if the State Department authorized someone to authorize someone to “find out what Fedensin’s lawyers know”?

Fedensin’s allegations touch former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton more directly than anyone else currently in the Obama administration. Clinton was SecState when the eight investigations that Fedensin alleges were scuttled by senior department members, were scuttled. The scandals even touch Clinton’s own security detail as well as her long-time fixer, Cheryl Mills.

Exit question: Where’s Sandy Berger these days?

So is Jen Psaki asserting that the State Department has the authority to commit burglary, just that they didn't in this case?

There are no coincidences in this administration. They are amoral, lawless, and completely without conscience. The ends justify the means, and the ends only serve the administration and not the people.

We will know soon enough. If the Journo-List 2.0 kept media makes sure that the story dies, then is almost surely a "plumbers" job. If the Republican Party goes out of its way to not mention it, then it is guaranteed; because the thing they fear most is standing up to Democrat tyranny.

Quick can someone check the third floor storage area in the private residence at the White House for the missing computers. It's just a hunch but the Rose Law Firm' billing records did turn up there after two years of searching for them.

"What if..."??? You're kidding, right?

OF COURSE it was a government-directed job.

Whether you could prove it in a court of law is a whole 'nother thing, but you don't have to act all stupid about something so obvious.

So in addition to siccing the IRS on political opponents, having a plumbers unit in justice go after reporters, spying on every americans private details, now we even have a "3rd rate burglary". This is getting more and more nixonian each day. One big difference so far though, I expect Obama was smart enough not to tape everything, so in the respect, if in nothing else, he is more competant than Nixon.

Given the level of transparency of this administration, it would have to happen sooner or later and mkore than once. I doubt there is any limit to the depths of unethical behavior this administration would stoop to for purposes of retaining control over this country and it's citizens.

I, think any one of the Obama scandals is equal to the Watergate. Doubtless Woodward and Bernstein are too old and politically involved to pursue the current "Deep Throat"...and perhaps there is none. Obama's current followers may be too invested in his image. Perhaps some young newsperson will rise to the occasion and delve into any one of the scandals and self publish or blog but they won't be guaranteed the former readership of The Washington Post.

the liberal media will remain silent on this just like they've done with every obama scandal. this sounds like another watergate and one would think the media would be all over this. but watergate dealt with a republican the media hated. this incident may deal with a communist muslim president who the media protects obama at any cost.

hey oldschool, i never heard of obama's being a cross between stalin and capone. that's really cool and a great comparison. that's going to make for a good saying on a tee shirt.

What gets me about these kind of things is that its soooooo amateur. Hiring good burglars who will keep quiet isn't that hard to do. You'd think that with their Chicago connections they would know these things.

Unless you're prepared to kill the people you engage to do bad things for you - and it is hard to do that and get away with it in the US - you have to recruit your people to do dirty work from amateurs who are loyal to you, loyal enough to go to jail if necessary to protect you. Professionals aren't going to go to jail just for another job. A mafiosi or other gang member might, but only because he's afraid somebody will kill him. I think there are certainly people inside the Soros Junta willing to kill people, but even they can only do it in places where they know the fix is in; Democrat controlled cities and states. If I were a Democrat looking to do a bad thing, Texas ain't my first choice of locales.

Art, Hillary is involved, which means that a mafiosi connection is easy to make.

I beg to differ. Killing people and getting away with it is easy. Vince Foster ring any bells?

Please see Art's comment on that: "but even they can only do it in places where they know the fix is in"

Foster was taken care of by the D.C. machine. No problem.

Why do we immediately jump to the conclusion that one of Obama's tentacles is the perpetrator? Sad that the President's greatest legacy as of now is lawlessness.
