One of each, please.

We should all take a break from politics to argue about food preferences once in a while. If you’re ever bored on social media, start a good In-N-Out vs Five Guys discussion. Unless you’re a Five Guys person, of course.

Tonight’s culinary question involves favorite hot dog toppings. I’m pretty big tent when it comes to this.

peel and dice three good sized potatoes. Put in boiling water and cook till tender. concurrent with the potatoes, cook in fry pan six half-strips of bacon...in grease saute garlic and onions...then cook half package of Jimmy Dean pork sausage. drain the potatoes and give them a mash, then mix in the sausage/onions/garlic. Add V-8 juice for favored consistency and a dash of Tobasco. Let simmer for a good while.

The classic: mustard, Cincinnati chili, and shredded cheddar cheese.

A few years ago I counted up the restaurants within a mile of my house and the #1 category was chili parlors. It's slipped a bit -- now it's a tie between chili and Chinese.

Slice the dog open, fill it with brie, wrap bacon around it, cement it with tooth picks and grill.

Boil the dogs in water w/ garlic salt & slightly toast the bun. Then top with either: 1. Sauerkraut & spicy gourmet mustard, or 2. No-beans chili, slaw, shredded cheese & chopped oinons. Yummmm!

My 4yo likes ketchup on his.
