Bloomberg: Of Course Government Can and Should 'Infringe' On Your Rights

New York’s nanny boss actually uses that word and says that it’s something government ought to do.

“I do think there are certain times we should infringe on your freedom,” Mr. Bloomberg said, during an appearance on NBC. He made the statement during discussion of his soda ban — just shot down by the courts — and insistence that his fight to control sugary drink portion sizes in the city would go forth.

Bloomberg sees no limit to his power, as long as he believes that his intentions are good. Even with the exact word he uses, on one of the subjects that interests him, the Second Amendment, clearly says that he is wrong.

Quote:

…the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

What part of that does Mayor Liberal Fascist not understand?
