Shield Tactical released the following statement on their Facebook page today.

Who didn’t see THIS coming, honestly? :)

Shield Tactical is pleased to announce that we are moving our retail division to Shiner, Texas. We are pleased to have neighbors such as TBRC and the Spoetzl Brewery (home of Shiner Beer). Shipping etc will not be substantially affected.

Out training division will remain in CA until the legislature outlaws everything.

Not much more needs to be said. Except to note that Gov. Rick Perry didn’t return to Texas from his California raid so empty handed after all.

Shield Tactical sells just about every firearm option that’s available and also provides training services. Here’s their sale page. Thanks in no small part to the Obama-Feinstein rush against the Second Amendment, business is rolling pretty well for Shield. And now they’ll be conducting their business in Texas, where they will enjoy lower taxes and not have to deal with an overtly hostile state government.

Gov. Perry now has his sights set on luring a Colorado gun parts maker, Magpul Industries, to low-tax Texas.

Pretty soon all viable companies will at least think about moving to Texas.

I live in Ca. and I don't blame anyone for leaving here... I would leave if I didn't have family who depend on me... So I stay and try to fight the good fight...

I like Perry, but I also know he has some kind of business development crony capitalism subsidy slush fund to lure companies.

Was that involved here?

You might have missed the part about their industry being legal there and the low taxes for businesses. Even Amazon moved out of the Communist Republic of California. No subsidy needed. Just liberals.

Sleazy assertion with no reference/link.

Followed by a question, so that you can claim innocence if pressed.

Weak.

Texas is getting all the 'business' & Colorado looks to be angling for some pot tourist trade. Here in Washington State I've already heard from a few friends who've warned me that some heavy smokers they know are eying real estate websites here in Washington.

Gotta wonder what will be left in California once the dust settles.

I've seen this coming for years and it's just beginning in my opinion. Ethnic division plus increased ethnic groups plus liberal political correctness creates a Tower of Babel at the voting booth and a wall around people who disagree. It also pushes people into a de facto recognition of identity politics simply by choosing to not participate in it and move and they move behind a wall.

Unless you believe, and I don't, that success is a one size fits all cultures if they could only reach America, that means a wall is also shutting out success, and enclosing failure.

What's that all mean in the long run? It means increased racial segregation on a regional scale eventually. Texas looks good now but in some years down the road it'll be lost to the Latino vote and go Democrat. There's simply too many goodies in voting as an ethnic bloc for Hispanics to not indulge in it.

You're going to see ethnic European enclaves in the North Central and Northwest U.S. They'll be enclaves of productivity, relatively low crime, relatively peaceful and successful.

What'll happen is the Rainbow Coalition that hates them the most will do their utmost to follow that success. Whether that will succeed or not is unknown. Give the current immigration trend, I really don't see anywhere failure won't eventually spread to.

Liberalism is a form of madness and intellectually empty. While minorities will commonly express they wish to escape the ghetto, don't you dare indicate they should yourself. The liberal meme is that too white is "frighteningly white." But in fact, liberals, and minorities who can, get the hell away from other minorities in a heartbeat. The vast majority of liberal mouthpieces who whine about race live in communities, enclaves, that are 98% white.

Holder and Obama want to talk about race and embrace Derrick Bell? Okay, let's talk about race and how it controls Democratic policy, including guns, since that's just another con to absolve black culture of indulging in wholesale murder out of all proportion to their demographic.

People who fundamentally do one thing while they think another are mad.
