W. paints! Who would have thought it? Thanks to a hacker known as Guccifer who wormed into the computer of the 43rd president’s sister, the world has learned that George W. Bush is an amateur – I would say serious amateur – painter. He may be some people’s least favorite president since Hoover, but as an artist he is, well, a heck of a lot better than any number of world leaders whose names spring to mind, foremost Winston Churchill and Adolf Hitler.
Bush better than Hitler? That’s a pink slippable offense over at the official publication of the Democratic National Committee. Also, the author of the article disappeared shortly after it was posted.
First heard about this last week with the announcement that their dog Barney had died. One of the images Laura Bush posted to Facebook to commemorate Barney was a portrait W had painted of him.

Some art scholars have said that had Churchill was so talented that had he not gone into politics, he could have been a world-class painter.
