GOP Poll Observer Reports Three Cases of Fraud at North Carolina Precinct
This email just came in to PJ Media. Reprinted in its entirety:
1. A man came in at 7:30 to vote. He correctly gave his name and address. When told that someone had given his name and already voted, he was upset. He said he had just gotten off his shift at work and come directly there to vote. Obviously, since he was at work, it could not have physically been him who cast the earlier vote.
2. An older woman (I think 87 years old) came in to cast her vote. The records showed that someone had requested, filled out and submitted an absentee ballot in her name. She was VERY upset and the Chief called down to BOE Headquarters. She later came back with her daughter/granddaughter and they made quite a fuss. Threatened to call the TV stations and announced that they had contacted someone who was apparently well connected to complain. They left without voting.
3. At about 10:00, we had a curbside request from an older woman who was so infirm, she could not make it into the polling place. When the worker looked up her name, it reflected that she had already voted earlier in the day. She also left without voting.
So, in a matter of 3 1/2 hours at as relatively slow precinct, we had three different cases of pretty obvious voter fraud. As if it needed to be pointed out to those silly Democrats who claim that voter ID laws disenfranchise poor or minority voters, all three of these victims of fraud were black voters.

I wish I could say I was surprised that votes are being stolen from law abiding citizens. I’m not. This is precisely WHY we need Voter ID, so that those three people would not have their votes stolen. This BTW is not only happening in NC, but in NM as well. A elderly man was told he had already voted, when he hadn’t. In this case though, it was easy to solve. His Liberal son for whatever reason, was not registered to vote; and voted using his father’s name to do so. This was on Kob news. ABC Channel 7 in New Mexico.
“all three of these victims of fraud were black voters.”
And probably would have voted Obama any way.
That is not the point, even if it might possibly be true, the fact is that fruad was commited and these voters lost there right to vote.
Well, if GOP poll observers say so it must be true. Ha!
You doubt only because you don’t want to see the truth. The Democrat Poll Observer sitting right beside me would verify as would the poll workers. This was a strongly democratic precinct with a Democrat Chief Judge. It was the Democratic CJ who tried to solve their problems but could not. You appear to be so partisan you refuse to accept the possibility.
Perhaps they’d already voted and were attempting to vote twice. (That would be another possibility especially if they didn’t think they’d get caught.) I’m in NC and a woman came in behind me to vote but complained when she couldn’t. She’d voted already in Florida and couldn’t understand why she couldn’t vote in NC as she “lived in both places”. Right.
Kudos to our BOE for stating the rules in no uncertain terms to that woman. They also handed out flyers that informed voters that a straight ticket doesn’t count for President. That vote has to marked individually. Please Note NC Voters: Vote for President separately even if you voted straight ticket.
NC is not even known or seen as a place where this happens…
These are just the duplicates; probably many will slip by where the actual person does not come in (and/or is dead or moved et cetera).
I don’t know about today, but when I was growing up in western NC the downstate counties around Charlotte were WELL known for every trick in the book to stuff the ballot box. Of course at that time the state was totally controlled by the old-time Southern Democrat machine. Those good ol’ boys could teach Cook County, IL how to rig an election, when they weren’t burning crosses and wearing sheets.
Surprised that this fraud happened. At my precinct in Raleigh, NC our names are in a large ledger, we identify ourselves by name and address, our “ticket” is removed from the ledger, we sign it, then it is signed by the pollworker. We then take our “ticket” to another table where we are given the ballot. It would be easy to determine the pollworker who signed the “ticket” (don’t know what they are called!) and what “number” that voter was. Our precinct is one where most of the folks know each other……fraud could not take place. I did ask about the machine and whether it could count my vote for Obama rather than Romney. It was not the kind that registered it right away, or so that anyone could see. I trust the election process in Wake County, at least, and for the most part, in NC. There will always be those who try, and sometimes succeed, in committing fraud. Off with their heads!
In the one case, the illegality had been done by absentee ballot, not in person. As to the others, all that is required is to recite a name and an address that matches. Yes, if the poll worker personally knows the person who’s name is being given, the fraud would not work. If a person, intent on fraud, picks a name who has not been an active voter in the past, they undoubtedly believe they can get away with it. Also, I have absolutely no doubt that the two people who came into the polling area, they were mad and unset that they could not vote. Do not believe these were people were trying to vote twice.
I agree…..but surely they were told they could use a provisional ballot? The original ballot (fraudulent one) can be checked….don’t know if issue could be resolved…Yes, it’s easy to just give name and address….I have a card issued by the Board of Elections, but am never asked to show it. In my situation, they know me….if not the first person I see, then some one standing around and able to hear my response to the question asked of me, (as to identity). Had a close relative who was head of the Board of Elections for the state, many years ago. He had some great stories to tell…especially ones about the western counties up in the mountains..had to escorted by the Highway Patrol to go up and settle their problems…at that time these were Republican counties. They were real serious about their politics…no less so than the Democrats down east. (who would vote for anything or anyone as long as there was a “D” after the name.)
One of the reasons I vote as early as possible is to avoid this kind of thing. I hope that enough publicity of this will cause some sensible voter ID practices to be put into place. It actually is this easy to vote for someone else in North Carolina. I think all I had to tell the poll worker was my name and address.
The Democratic Party hue and cry over voter ID is used to cover such fraud. College students will crawl over broken glass to get an ID in order to drink, so they are not going to be disenfranchised. The poor are able to get free ID in ALL STATES, so they will not be disenfranchised. The problems don’t come from people being denied the ability to vote because they don’t have a photo ID, the problem is that voter fraud won’t be as easy with photo ID required. The Dems understand that voter fraud could be done by both sides, but is instituted on their side as a “right”. By 2016 if most states have not legislated photo ID, they should have all their early/absentee ballots segregated and not counted until the polls have closed and they’ve done a name-by-name verification. Not hard to do with computers nowadays.
Now you know why Democrats vigorously oppose anti-fraud measures. Defrauding the vote is an essential part of their strategy.
“those silly Democrats who claim”-Are you insane, no Democrat of any substance or rank believes that, they’re under no disillusion, they want this so they can more easily commit fraud. The entire federal and local get out the vote industry is nothing but organized and taxpayer funded fraud. It is reprehensible that the Republicans do nothing about it, make nothing about it and continue having our taxpayer dollars flood Democrat created gangster groups year after year in ever increasing numbers. It’s a contemptible disgrace for our country.
