A longtime opponent of Bill Clinton accused Republicans of “cowardice” that allowed the former president to roar back with a vengeance at the Democratic National Convention last night in a performance that could cost Mitt Romney the election.
“In the late 1990s, Republicans in Congress sought to impeach Clinton, but only for the Lewinsky scandal, which paled in comparison to the president’s treason. The goal of the Republicans was only to wound Clinton in time for the 2000 presidential elections, so they did not want to convict him in the Senate,” said Larry Klayman, founder of Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch.
“Now, 13 years later, Clinton has risen from the politically and legally dead and come back with a vengeance, fully ‘rehabilitated,’ to deliver crushing blows to the Republicans at the DNC convention. While his recitation of President Obama’s accomplishments was largely false, his presentation was powerful and will likely help serve, with the aid of the mainstream media, to defeat Republican candidate Mitt Romney in this fall’s presidential election.”
Klayman’s then-firm filed 18 civil lawsuits against the administration during Clinton’s term.

And if Bill were running that analysis would be correct. Barry is no Bubba, however, and pretty much everyone knows that.
Oh, horsefeathers. After the fiasco with the platform and Bubba’s overly-long speech? Obama’s the candidate, not Clinton, and, over the next several weeks, it’s Obama who’ll have to win or lose this race.
Not a washed-up sexual predator.
How do you know he washed up afterwards?
Ew.
One speech is not going to make the difference.
SEIU having control over the voting machines in many districts, however, is another matter.
100% agree. and have you noticed how nobody wants to discuss this topic? i guess when flagrant fraud/cheating/lawlessness becomes the main real progressive (hidden) in your face platform, people just start feeling helpless.
The Democrats need to get two things through their heads: their nominee is not Bill Clinton. The Republicans’ nominee is not George W. Bush.
And let’s be real, considering the below-the-basement ratings the speech got last night how many people did it actually sway? Especially since much more reporting today was on that disaster with their platform.
Of course Romney could still lose, but the idea that Clinton clinched anything last night is nothing short of delusional.
Actually, that is EXACTLY what the Dems want the voters to think. And, somehow, a vote for Barry is really a proxy vote for Bill’s third term. It’s so crazy it might work!
I doubt it. More people watched the football game than Clinton’s speech.
President Happypants gave a spech? Who knew?
I was watching the Giants/Cowboys game.
I was too busy washing the crotch out of my pantyhose.
Bitter words spoken in fear and unconsummated anger, not exactly someone I would rely upon for sound political judgment.
Clinton did the Obamas no favors. One wonders if he’ll help Obama as much as he helped Al Gore? Probably even less.
Forward? Ha ha. Back to the nineties with you.
Yeah, likely story, because, as we should all know, most of America hangs on every word of an impeached and disbarred perjurer in defending the administration of an inept narcissist.
“Longtime Clinton Foe Says Former President May Have Handed Obama the Win”
Sure sure. When nobody shows up it’s a real good sign Obama will win.
The crowds around Romney and Ryan mean they will lose for sure.
The sky is black and God is dead. Therefore we can hope in no one but the government.”and every living soul in the sea (of people) died”.”Yes Lord they deserve it because they drank the blood of your prophets and your saints”.
The third and fifth paragraphs are identical, other than the attribution “…Klayman blasted.” at the end of the first sentence.
Clinton’s not on the ballot. And most Americans would not vote for the sexual predator and serial rapist anyway, no matter how slick his words are. That he is regarded as a Democrat hero speaks volumes.
The fact remains the Democrat strategy in the face of our problems is to place their hands over their ears, chant “La-la-la I can’t hear you” and continue to drive off the cliff at full speed. We’ll see this November how many Americans want to join them going over the cliff.
Larry Klayman needs to put his big boy pants on and stop crying. I get so sick of men who run around wailing nonsensically just to draw attention to themselves. Nobody is scared of Clinton because Clinton just made a fool of himself in that speech. The only people impressed with it are the Kool-aid drinkers and the propagandists in the media. NEWSFLASH for all the gaspers and fainters like Klayman: This ISN’T 1996!!! Anybody who can’t handle this better go find someplace to hide till it’s over.
Is Klayman talking about the same Bill Clinton who handed the Republicans their greatest Congressional victories in 40 yrs in 1994? (That is, until Obama exceeded that record in 2010). THAT Bill Clinton has handed Obama the victory? Okay, if you say so.
Keep in mind Clinton’s popularity (erroneously) is bolstered by the following: 1. An adoring & sycophantic Democrat base (the speech he gave was at the convention, after all); 2. An adoring & sycophantic media; 3. Adoring & sycophantic pollsters, who inflate Clinton’s approval numbers by oversampling an adoring & sycophantic Democrat base, which is, in turn, dutifully reported by an adoring & sycophantic media.
