It seems the Obama campaign catchphrase of the month is “trickle-down tax cut fairy dust.”
President Obama has used the term to describe Mitt Romney’s economic policy in five speeches over the past week.
“Look, Orlando, we know better. They have tried to sell us this trickle-down tax cut fairy dust before,” Obama said at a Rollins College event in Winter Park, Fla., on Aug. 2. “And guess what — it didn’t work then; it will not work now.”
“We know better than this. They have been trying to sell us this trickle-down, tax cut fairy dust before. We’ve seen this before. And guess what — every single time, it doesn’t work,” he said later that day to a crowd at Loudon County High School in Leesburg, Va.
“So there were all kinds of different gymnastics being performed by the Romney campaign last week. They have tried to sell us this trickle-down, tax cut fairy dust before. And guess what — it does not work,” Obama said Monday in Stamford, Conn.
“So they were twisting and they were turning and doing backflips, and trying to say, well, this is a biased report — despite the fact that the head of this nonpartisan center used to work for President Bush,” he said yesterday in Grand Junction, Colo. “But it’s not surprising that he was trying to scramble a little bit, because they’ve tried to sell this old, trickle-down tax cut fairy dust before.”
And today at an event in Pueblo, Colo.: “Now, you know what, they have tried to sell us this trickle-down tax cut fairy dust before. It did not work. It did not work then. It is not going to work now.”

Actually, I’d be willing to bet he came up with this phrase himself. Sound like his shuck and jive B.S. No speechwriter to fire. Because, surprisingly, Obama really is an idiot. Having a good but not great intellect spoiled by leftist morality and right/wrong dilemmas = a forceful idiot. His speech tempo is F.O.S. It’s certainly not on par with a Churchill. His singular purpose to become our President succeeded. Is congratulations for his intellect in order? Or shame on Americans’ stupidity, who thought 2 and 1/2 men (is that the right name?), Rosanne and all of the other moronic sitcoms where sarcasm and insults reign supreme, are a legitimate use of time.
Gee Professor Obama, you make a very persuasive case. Example after example of the historical failure of liberated market forces to create jobs and actually increase tax revenues.
And then to contrast those failures with the brilliance of your track record, reminding us of how much better off we now are – with cheaper health care coming soon !!

The trickle down effect is a con invented by the left for the express purpose of being discredited. There never has been a trickle down effect. Nor would we want there to be.
What there is, and what in fact makes a market economy operate so effectively, is a get up off your behind and get to work effect. By engaging in this behavior a person creates wealth and, as the creator of that wealth, he actually gets to keep some of it. The left mistakes this for a trickle down effect because they refuse to admit any link between wealth creation and human action.
Trickle down ignorance caused by gushing incompetence and torrential deception.
An imperfect storm radiating recession and stagnation effecting every geographic area of the planet.
The abundance of endless predictions for this slow moving disaster have all proven accurate.

“Trickle-Down Fairy Dust” is just a very polite way of saying “golden-shower economics” which itself is another way of saying, “Nobody-deserves-money-like-the-rich-certainly-not-YOU” economics. This situation was no “accident”. It is the near culmination of a generation’s efforts by the party of Greed Over Principle in order to gain favor with their corporate overlords.
