Welcome back…to the same southern state Dems are mad about. The DNC convention in Charlotte is going to be a heckuva show. Elizabeth Warren gets to talk about class warfare and what it means to be a fake Indian. Then Jimmy Carter gets to talk about how happy he is that someone in his lifetime failed at the presidency worse than he did.

The Democratic National Convention Committee announced Tuesday that Carter would address the convention by video on Sept. 4.

“A lifelong champion of human rights and investments in education and energy to spur economic development, President Carter will provide unique insight into President Obama‚Äôs ability to move our country forward and why we need his vision and leadership for a second term,” Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, the 2012 convention chairman, said in a statement.

In a statement, Carter said that he and his wife regretted not being able to attend the convention in person.

No word if Castro-loving crockumentary film maker Michael Moore will appear next to Carter, as he did at the 2004 DNC convention.
