On Twitter, Fox’s Shannon Bream breaks a story that was, er, broken here and elsewhere last week: Rep. Larry Kissell (D-NC) will vote with the Republicans to repeal ObamaCare. The House will take up the vote on Rep. Eric Cantor’s repeal bill this Wednesday.
Chances are, Kissell won’t be the last. Democrats have already been spotted fleeing from Obama’s latest tax hike proposal. ObamaTax isn’t popular. It doesn’t add a single doctor, but does add more than 16,000 IRS agents. The majority still wants it repealed and for Democrats who are in competitive districts like Kissell’s, repeal is surely a tempting way to show independence from a president who a majority of Americans think has hurt the country.
Yeah, knowing the repeal will not pass the Senate.
Yeah, side with the republicans just long enough to slide on his belly past November so he can run back into the democrat fold and do every thing possible to roadblock the republicans starting January 2013….
Larry Kissell is a good man.
Paraphrase a popular Democrat politician: it depends on what one means by “good”.
If he were a good man and not a weasel, he would have voted against Obamacare last year instead of helping Pelosi to push the power grabbing monstrosity thru, and there would not be Obamacare to repeal.

Here’s the deal: Larry Kissel (D) is probably in a very tight race to retain his N. Carolina U.S. Congressional seat. So, as one posted above, Kissel votes with this symbolic “No” to Obamacare/ObamaHealthTax(es!) as it is no skin off his back. It is just a token gesture. But one he can use on the campaign trail in August, September, and October to placate the more conservative leaning voters in his NC district.
If the man had any conscience or soul, he’d leave the Demoncrat Party (forever) writing a tell-all book on how many of them actually are communists, America-haters, traitors to the nation (yes, they are), cheats, thieves, and how many are taking kickbacks on a regular basis.
He’d also tell you how many are approached by lobbyists for the Saudis and take Saudi oil money. Ditto for those lobbyists who offer perks and cash and trips for supporting various multi-million dollar defense contracts.
Don’t worry. Won’t happen. Kissel is just a thieving liar like 423 others in the U.S. House of Representatives. He’s doing this vote just to stay in his seat and to keep the money rolling his way.
