Obama surrogates on the cable chat shows frequently pound Romney surrogates with a question: “What’s the plan?” What would Mitt Romney do differently than Barack Obama has done? They’re implying, or occasionally coming right out and stating, that Romney doesn’t have a plan for what he will do with the presidency. Obama himself suggested that Romney has no plan with his “Romney’s plan would fit in a tweet” comment Tuesday. The president and his campaign ignore the fact that Romney published an 87-page economic plan months ago.
Today, the Romney campaign has distilled that plan into a handy info graphic that contrasts what Romney would do with what Obama has done. Here it is and it’s embedded below. Will it stop Alan Colmes and Bob Beckel from interrupting everyone on Fox with “What’s the plan? What’s the plan?” Unlikely.

Down here in Florida, I voted for Gingrich in the Republican primary. But you know what? I am starting to dig this Romney cat…
The primaries were good for Romney. They made him stronger and faster with his responses. Those of us who have supported Romney since 2004 knew that you all would come along eventually. It takes a governor to beat an incumbent POTUS.
– Fox to lay off those tokens. Then their blowsy wives can whine, “What’s the plan? What’s the plan?”
Hey Barry …
Where’s your plan? Where’s your plan?
(Sound of man with the Peanut Butter munchies)
Good to see Romney addressing the regulatory issues. I’d favor a plan that calls for reducing each agency’s books by a set amount and revoking most of the agencies’ authority to issue new regulations, but Romney’s plan looks promising and might go over better with moderates.
We can start with Romney’s plan. Then reduce more later, to the extent that people see that reducing the bureaucrat’s authority is a good idea.
When we have a growing economy, the bureaucrats will have to decide to stay with a low paying government job, or to take a better paying private job in a growing economy. That can reduce government regulation even further.
