Vile” and “ridiculous” both capture the essence of this insane MSNBC strafe run on Mitt Romney.

MSNBC daytime anchor Thomas Roberts says Mitt Romney’s “Keep America American” slogan plays homage to the Ku Klux Klan. The patriotic slogan, which is used in this ad, was apparently used by the KKK in the early 1900s.

Somehow the folks at MSNBC believe Mitt Romney is acknowledging his Klan roots by using the slogan in his 2012 campaign for the presidency.

If MSNBC was a serious network, Thomas Roberts or whatever idiot came up with that would be looking for another job. But it’s not so he isn’t and won’t be.

MSNBC sat back for years in silence when the Democrats elevated an actual Klansman as the “dean of the Senate.” But they will hit Romney over a silly coincidence.

And MSNBC will hit Romney with race again if he’s the nominee, over the Mormon church’s race record. The rest of the MSM will join them in that.

Yup, the coming year is going to be a wonderful time.
