**UPDATED**PJM Exclusive: NYPD arrest Muslim in Harlem planning to blow up police, military facilities
News is starting to leak about the arrest this weekend of a New York City man who planned to bomb police and military facilities. The NY Post reports:
The NYPD and Manhattan DA’s office have arrested a terror suspect who was planning to bomb city police facilities and US military sites, where he plotted to target returning war personnel and the families who gathered to welcome them home, The Post has learned.
The suspect, who lives in Manhattan, was arrested after he actually purchased bomb-making materials, sources said. He’d been on the authorities’ radar for about a year, the sources said.
It wasn’t immediately clear exactly where he planned to attack.
We can report here exclusively at PJM that the man arrested is Jose Pimentel of Harlem. On his Facebook page he describes himself as:
I am a Muslim convert from the Dominican Republic looking for other muslims living in the US specially in New York City to share a brotherhood with and to help each other stay firm on the religion. Also looking for anyone that wishes to learn more about Islam and other religions.
On his YouTube channel he states:

I support Islam and the muslims all the way and of course my heart goes out to the BIG BROTHERS of this Ummah The mujahideen i ask Allah to forgive u and give u victory over the disbelievers. UPDATE #1: ABC News is reporting:
He is charged with criminal possession of a weapon and terrorism charges, and he allegedly had the materials to make a bomb when arrested, according the criminal complaint.
Investigators have reviewed audio and video recordings of the defendant discussing plans to build a bomb and use it to assassinate members of the military returning from active duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, the complaint said.
UPDATE #2: CNN adds that Pimentel got his instructions from al-Qaeda’s English-language magazine Inspire:
The suspect allegedly learned how to make a pipe bomb after reading Inspire, the al Qaeda terrorist network’s English-language online propaganda, recruiting and training magazine.
“He was a reader of al Qaeda’s slick online magazine Inspire — and inspire him it did,” Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance said. “His stated desire to attack our servicemen and women … could have come from an al-Qaeda playbook.”

So is he “Jose Pimental of Harlem”, or is he an alien (illegal?) from Dominican Republic named Muhammad Yusuf? He’s also identified by media as a “lone wolf”. This is the same description they instantly used with the “underwear bomber” and the “Times Square bomber” – the label is regularly attached before such facts can possibly be known about him.
What mosques did he attend?
Who were his Muslim friends? What Muslim community does he reside in?
How did he get Islam so wrong?
Why did he come to America if he hates it so much that he wants to bomb the place.
Is Islam really a religion of peace if it keeps spewing up this human sewage?
These are all questions that any sane press would ask. They are reasonable questions, but somehow never get asked or answered.

I’m still amazed that these terrorists feel the need to blow things up. Any guy with an assault rifle and a good scope could probably wreak havoc in a major city by just popping off some rounds from a building and then running away. That’s what I worry about. The shooter probably would be very hard to find (if he’s quick enough and isn’t dumb enough to hang around) and could avoid the police for days, if not weeks. Look at how long Lee Boyd Malvo and John Allen Muhammad terrorized three states around 2002. And they had nothing more powerful than a hunting rifle. I must commend the NYPD for the wonderful job they have done in preventing ISLAMIC terror attacks- however they are being leaned on heavily by the MUSLIM community, to stop doing their jobs and to proceed with both hands tied behind their backs, being accused of “racism” for pursuing the obvious suspects.

The New York police are to be complemented. These terrorists are really to be feared. Death makes them a martyr. Someshould study in insane attitude of at least some of the Muslims. I have heard a prominent Muslim speak but, while he is respected as a moderate, he is not very influentia and the nuts seem to rule.
