Video from inside SF Bank of America as rampaging occupiers beclown themselves
Occupy protesters this afternoon stormed a Bank of America branch in downtown San Francisco, and after jumping on desks and chanting anti-capitalist slogans, they set up a tent inside the branch and announced they would “occupy” the bank permanently.
Needless to say, the police showed up and calmly arrested the lot of them.
Luckily, one of protesters has just uploaded a five-minute video showing the first giddy moments of the invasion and the truly juvenile antics of the occupiers. If you’ve ever wanted to be a “fly on the wall” at one of these invasions, here’s your chance:
The San Francisco Chronicle has reported that 100 occupiers were arrested, along with this grotesque tidbit:
Authorities said the protesters would be charged with trespassing.
“Banks got bailed out, we got sold out!” several chanted. One activist urinated in a corner of the bank office.
I tried to find video of the grown-up baby going pee-pee, but so far no luck.
Does requiring protesters to wear diapers infringe on their First Amendment rights?
Here’s another video showing the action through the bank’s front window:
After watching several of the occupiers’ own videos of this bank invasion, I can say with confidence that the reports are true: As of today, Occupy SF, Occupy Oakland and Occupy UC Berkeley have basically all now merged into one mega regional occupation force that moves from city to city as needed. The evictions have turned them into a migratory herd.
UPDATE:
I cannot believe the incredible restraint shown by the SF cops in this new video as they are pushed, shoved and harrassed by Occupiers:
In any other country in the world, the protesters’ behavior shown here would have resulting in some major head-cracking, take-downs and arrests by the cops, at a minimum. As thanks for the cops’ comparative passivity, the Occupiers scream “Fuck you!” and “Shame on you!” at them. Unreal.

I’m still missing the logic here…exactly how does this sort of nonsense help their cause? Assuming you can find anyone to tell you what their cause actually is.
I think you just accidentally hit the nail on the head. “This sort of nonsense” is their cause.
When a protest has no demands, then the form of the message becomes the message. Like getting a letter in the mail that’s nothing but an empty envelope. The only option you have at that point is to scrutinize the envelope for clues.
In this case, I see vacuity, juvenility, high self-esteem, and a lot of hormones coursing through the bloodstream with no outlet.
Another part of that “empty envelope” is the implicit threat to the homes of bank executives. At this point the only thing saving them may well be the OWS’ inability to find out where they live.
“High self-esteem”
Caused by no competition (it’s bad for the little darlins, doncha know?), and trophies for everyone, ESP. the losers. Don’t they have bigger trophies & boosts to THEIR self-esteem than the winners these days?! (yes, unfortunately they do) This nonsense needs to end, and now — whether it’s the stupidity in schools saying everyone’s just as good/right as everyone else; or talking about the OWS idiots that are simply the logical outcome of yrs. of b.s. in the public schools …
I see this nonsense as New York and San Fransisco reaping the harvest for embracing the Bohemian counterculture that made them so “hip” and culturally advanced when compared to the fly-over states. The folks in those cities have no one to blame but themselves for allowing their communities to rot this way.
Even a termite infested house can be made to look beautiful….right up to the moment that it collapses!
– almost got run over trying to get away from that block. Meanwhile, the encampment endures. Now that the election is over, why does Mayor Lee let it continue and increase?
Despite being probably the most politically moderate mayor of SF since Alioto, Ed Lee is not really a politician, but rather just a functionary or bureaucrat who was handed the keys to the city when no one else wanted them. He’s not the kind of guy who takes bold action, just doing instead whatever’s required to keep the system humming along.
As long as the Occupiers only stink up a city block or two, and limit their marches to a couple hours a week through the Financial District, I think he’ll let them slide with a couple bank invasions just to keep them satisfied.
But if the occupiers actually truly disrupt the status quo, then Ed will silently and efficiently give them the ol’ heave-ho.
– but just so tired of the don’t-rock-the-boat method of “governance”.
Yeah, this is just like the civil rights movement, isn’t it. {shaking head} What a disgrace to the freedom of speech and civil disobedience our troops have fought for. Ridiculous.
This is exactly what a “Community Organizer” does. These are Obama’s AstroTurf Shock Troopers. We have a radical freak for president, and a radical freak political party which endorses and funds this kind of “discourse”. It may sound preposterous, but I think Obama wants to show that he commands legions of young energetic malcontents who will ceaselessly blame his political enemies for their plight.
This is a deliberate Leftist Two-step, and with a compliant press who will ignore it’s genesis and tactics, Obama’s hopes to “frame the debate” with his manufactured #Occupy movement. It’s explicit design is to keep the grievances of these shock troops on the front page until election. They won’t examine the socialist and corrupt anti-capitalist policies which brought about the economic conditions we find ourselves in, but the media will work hard to endlessly contextualize the faux grievances of this group to make their grievances the narrative of the upcoming election.
The message this sewage is trying to send is: “you’d better watch out if you know what’s good for you.”
Obama wants to show that he commands legions of young energetic malcontents
But he doesn’t command “legions,” which is another aspect of this ridiculous phenomenon. The whole thing is a facade that requires the compliant press you mentioned to make it seem both bigger and more legitimate than it actually is.
As an on-site witness to the real deal back in the tumultuous ’60s, I can tell you that the #OWS effort is pathetic by comparison.
So this is the trash the colleges and universities push out after they ‘graduated’? What an embarrassment!
Excellent Job by the occupiers for protesting a bank who has actually repaid it’s loans… Idiots.
