WMDs Announced (Not “Discovered”) in Libya
The news comes from the new government. Via Moscow, ahem.
Remember that the Libyans were said to have abandoned their nuclear and chemical weapons programs, and we were said to have carried out inspections to make sure that had happened. So if this news checks out, it’s a blow to “inspections regimes,” and it raises the question if we can EVER be confident that such programs have ever been dismantled.
If we couldn’t be right about Libya, how could anyone be confident that the Iranians had abandoned their nukes?
Not that they’re about to…or even really talk about it.

I think the key point is that it is clearly a “revelation” designed to boost our valiant warrior king.
Poor stumblebum dubya lied about the evil dictator giving up his wmd, and it took Prince Valiant to go get them. And the lightworker did it without a single life lost.
That’s the narrative you will be hearing about, oh about 10 times a day, for the next 12 months. Of course, the greatest man to ever walk the earth is far too humble to bring it up himself.
Libyan weaponry was smuggled out to Gaza months ago; cars too.
Is it just my browser or does that link go to New Kerala website out of India? I can’t find anything on that site referring to this story.
Didn’t all that Iraq WMD go to Syria? Of course, apparently anything counts as WMD now days, like hand grenades and AK47 variants firing on semi-automatic in some state penal codes. Curious how in some state penal codes a pipe bomb loaded with black powder is a WMD, while the Feds running guns to Mexico and getting hundreds of people killed is just a normal law enforcement procedure. Once again, it’s not what you do but who you know.

La Repubblica was I believe the first to report this though their account wasn’t terribly clear as to what was found.
