You’ve heard of Shoeless Joe? Meet Clueless Joe.
Tuesday morning on AM Tampa Bay on 970 WFLA, Vice President Joe Biden was asked by Jack Harris about the Occupy Wall Street Movement. The VP said “I really don’t know about the Van Jones group, except what I read in the press.” The group is currently protesting in New York City against the social and economic inequality, corporate greed and the influence of corporate money and lobbyists on government.
Later in his response in talking about the frustration seen in the Tea Party and the Occupy Wall Street Group, Biden said “you have on the one end Van Jones’ guys, whoever he is, talking about Wall Street.” Jack Harris and Tedd Webb stopped him to tell him he had previously been “Green Czar” in the administration. The VP responded, “Oh is that… alright”
Jones was, of course, Obama’s “Green Czar” who resigned in controversy once it came to light that he is a Communist and was a Truther. Jones is behind the Occupy movement. You know this, and I know this. But the vice president whose boss hired Jones for a powerful post in his administration, does not know this. The radio hosts’ bemusement at having to lend the veep a fact is priceless.
I have never been able to decide if Joe Biden is really that slow, or if it’s just been a political tactic to play dumb.
What does this say about Delaware voters? I guess if you deliver free stuff you could be a vegetable and get elected.

and in conclusion: Van Jones is a communist plant, mind controlled by George Soros, spreading his commie-mind control to 1,000s of college kids forcing them to eat pizza and sleep outside in protest of Wall Street stealing their future!

The point in repeating the radio broadcast for a wider audience was is Joe Biden clueless? Does he just playact so he doesn’t have to answer any pertinent questions that will embarass “The Boss” again. I, for one, have believed for a very long time that he is indeed clueless and have wondered many times why the voters of DE have returned him to Congress for 30 years. I thought that DE consisted of educated, erudite peoples. That was an error. Joe Biden is little more than a drunk who can act like a thug at any given moment. Back to the original question if he is clueless. It would appear that it is possible if Biden is unaware that Van Jones was shunted out of the East Wing unceremoniously (due to his admitted communist ties) and then reemerges as the spokesman for the George Soros ‘RebuildtheDream’agenda to bring America to its knees by whatever means necessary. If he is unaware of that I would have to say he is CLUELESS.
Concur. Van Jones is not leading the movement. Van Jones is hoping to harness an independent movement to his own means. There was a prominent progressive who actually is deeply involved who decried the attempts by the Democratic machine to try to hijack their movement. I believe the progressive fellow said that everyone who is rich is a Republican, but that some of them call themselves Democrats (including, presumably, Van Jones).
I’m not concurring on any other part of your post Laura, but he sure ain’t running the Occupy show – no one is.
