Another Black-on-White Attack
In what seems to be a weekly occurrence, a high school football game became the scene for another violent attack, this time with a black football player attacking a white football referee. From the Sarasota Herald-Tribune:
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has identified four suspects in the pummeling of a referee at a youth football game Saturday, and all four are cooperating with authorities, according to a Sheriff’s Office spokesman.
About 30 seconds into the video, you see a number of blacks attacking a white official, and then a black football player, in full gear except for helmet, charges in full speed and tackles the official. Video shows a number of black officials, who were not attacked. There’s been a recurrence of black-on-white attacks lately.
“The video speaks for itself,” Sarasota County Sheriff’s Col. Steve Burns said. “It was disturbing.”
The Sarasota Herald-Tribune notes:
Attacking an athletic official is a felony in Florida.
At least two or three people would be facing felony charges…
As Ian Fleming’s character Auric Goldfinger said: “Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. The third time it’s enemy action.”
And radio silence continues from Barack Obama and Eric Holder…
But we’re a nation of cowards for not kowtowing to the black racialists, don’t y’know.
The civil rights folks will be on this any minute now…any minute now…any minute now…just wait, any minute now…
What happens when class warfare becomes a campaign modality.
I can foresee the defense: “Your Honor, everyone knows that he was trying to lynch us, so we had to defend ourselves.”
This will become known as the CBC Defense, and any judge who refuses to accept is will be henceforth be known as racist.
The black on non-black crime is getting ramped up by Holder & Co. and it won’t end well.

Looks like the ref was either breaking up a fight or was in some sort of confrontation, and there were lots of black refs trying to break up the commotion.
This was ugly, but I don’t think you can lump it in with the racially motivated stuff that’s been going on.
As you note, some of the black refs were trying to calm the commotion. The only black football player launching himself went after the white ref. Don’t know that you CAN’T lump it together, considering there were a number of black ref targets who get treated differently in the video. They get to go hand to hand with black protestors, but suffer no assault. Curiously like what happened at the Wisconsin state fair, where black hoodlums cased cars in the parking lot, bypassing cars containing blacks, but pulling whites out of their cars.
Excerpts from the Herald Tribune article:
“A video captured by a parent in the stands shows Gator coaches first throwing water bottles at the referees and then an unidentified parent or coach walking onto the field toward Ream.”

It reads as if the black ‘coaches’ started the whole thug attack.

The video shows black adults beginning the attack on the white ref, and the football player barreling in to tackle him. An example of adults being responsible for the “youth” attacks around the country?

Some things are as simple as black and white Mr. Evolution!
Just another case where the MSM frames it as an attack on a referee instead of black mob violence against a single white person. Like when a white is murdered by a black and a few bucks is stolen, the police and the media conspire to frame the motive as “robbery” when if the victim weren’t white they would still be alive in many cases. This won’t change until whites start shooting ICBM’s in these flash attacks which will only be increasing.
Blacks, as a group, are far more racist than anyone else in this country today. And when inner-cities are cesspools of failed politics and economies driving people into tribal hierarchies (which of course only increases the racist mentality in many blacks), I can understand racial violence the closer one gets to these cities. But I am not quite ready yet to jump on this bandwagon. I don’t know that there is an actual trend here that is progressively getting worse. Quite frankly I am reminded of the ridiculous hype over shark attacks prior to 9/11.
I also consider the possibility there might be a lack of information component. How many attacks occurred in the past that were never reported on by a racially terrified media?
If this really is a growing problem though, why is that? What today might be driving an increase in such violence? Perhaps this SCoaMF of a president (read Ace of Spades to get the reference) is driving young, entitlement minded young men insane with rage now that they realize they will never get their free handout to fame and riches? Or is it something else?
You need to get out more. I think there are some Asian communities that are more racist….
From the article, it seems that the players and coaches attacked that particular referee and not the others because he was the one who had made the call that upset them, not necessarily because he was white. You’re falling into the same trap as those who promote hate-crime laws, that is, seeing a racial motivation behind every crime where the people involved don’t have the same skin tone.
If you would note a url and quote, that would help. I reviewed the entire article, which now is 5 pages. The only relevant quote I found was on page 2:
“The suspect, who said Ream was being unfair to his team, told deputies that Ream pushed him first.”

That’s vague enough that I will stand by my post. “Unfair” has definitely been used to excuse violent behavior, without bother to specify exactly what behavior was “unfair.” So we have no way of knowing from the article that the victim did something deserving of battery.
Color me [no pun intended] ‘cynical’ if I believe that if the Ref had been ‘black’ that no such assault would have taken place.
And that’s what it was…an assault on a white referee by grown black men who are supposed to be mentors/coaches to those black teen football players.
Calling this a deliberate black-on-white assault is a reach. It is obviously a game in an overwhelmingly black neighborhood, and one of the few whites happens to be what appears to be the principal referee.
Black-originated racially-motivated crime is real, but I don’t think this is an example of that category.
Perhaps. However, do you have a census citation to show this is an “overwhelming black neighborhood”? And should Caucasians not visit these neighborhoods? If so, then you only prove that blacks are targeting whites on a major scale, which would make this incident one more example.
Also, the other whites in the crowd aren’t being attacked. This is just people loosing control over a call they didn’t like. Doesn’t look racial to me — just looks like horrid sportsmanship.
If their coaches are involved in the start of this they should be fired. Regardless, the team should be suspended from play for a year.

If the referee had been a black ‘brutha’, there is no way in hades that the guy would have been rushed like that. NO WAY.

No, you don’t get it. Players getting mad at refs and going after them is not unheard of in sports. It happens in sports all too often. It does no good to cry racism over sports fights — it distracts from the serious situations like the flashmobs that are beyond a shadow of a doubt racially motivated.

People know that the black (and muslim) victimhood will get a pass from law enforcement. nothing new here. like OJ and the LA riots after Rodney King.
At about 56 seconds into the video, the white referee has stumbled out of the pile and trots off the field. Things continue without him. Sure doesn’t sound like he stayed the target for long. If it was racially-motivated violence, I would expect that the other whites who rush onto the field would have been targets, yet it seems like folks of both colors from both teams are trying to stop it, with team allegiance more likely to be a targetting reason than anything else. Perhaps there are examples of black on white racially-motivated, but this is not one of them.
This is ONLY because the referee made calls they didn’t like. If he’d been a black referee, they would have scuffled with him anyway.
A crime was committed! Race is secondary…
