The question you might have after watching this is, is Barack Obama completely ignorant or a pathological liar? You make the call.
That’s not even close to true. During his time in office, Franklin Delano Roosevelt doubled spending, tripled taxes, created several massive and permanent government programs and entitlements, and even tried to pack the Supreme Court when it ruled against him. There was nothing remotely fiscally conservative about FDR at all. Obama himself has even noted that FDR was even dubbed a “socialist” in his day, because of his massive empowerment and expansion of government and spending. Given that fact, I’d have to go with “pathological liar.”
I mean, our brilliant president can’t be plain ignorant, right?
Question: Will the media call Obama out for this obvious lie?
(h/t Hot Air)

That’s a rhetorical question, right? Right?
Although no fan of Obama’s credibility or trustworthiness on anything, I vote for ignorance on this. His cultural literacy is very low and his knowledge of American history is limited to a few books he may have skimmed. It’s not for nothing that he won’t release his college & law school transcripts. He was not a serious student. That’s not a terrible thing, but it doesn’t help when you’re extemporizing about history or anything else. Law School doesn’t teach history, and he’s too young to remember FDR. So he’s ignorant. Without that teleprompter, he’s a basket case. With it, he gives dreary,
unexceptional speeches. He can’t win, and isn’t winning. Like the great Wizard of Oz, he’s being revealed, day by day, as the little man behind the curtain. No stage full of styrofoam Greek columns can disguise his ignorance and lack of leadership qualities.
He’ll say anything that he thinks will help himself politically. The lists of things he’s lied about is endless. When he was in Russia he even lied about how he met his wife. We know now he lied about his mother’s insurance (I never believed that) and probably his grandmother’s fear of blacks was a lie, too.
What hasn’t he lied about? Come to think about it his whole life is a lie.
I’d say he’s a compulsive liar rather than pathological because I believe he knows what he’s doing.
He enjoys pulling one over on people. He feels superior when he does this… the ultimate manipulator. However, he’s really lousy at it. I had him pegged after hearing him for 5 minutes as a con-artist.
I’ve been saying, much to the consternation of anyone who will listen, that the current President is not a bright man. He is of mediocre intelligence and clearly did not pay much attention in American History 101. His repeated gaffe-tastic rhetorical slip-ups when not accompanied by TOTUS are hard evidence of this fact.
He’s probably of above average intelligence. I’ve listened to endless hours of him and and off TOTUS. It’s a myth that he can’t speak off prompter. He can.
Actually, he can sound very articulate when he isn’t talking down to people and dropping his Gs etc. The trouble is is that he doesn’t say anything consequential except his talking points.
His worst gaffe was his pronunciation of the word corpseman which he repeated several times. I believe no one on his staff is willing to correct him because he thinks he’s perfect and superior to everyone. His self-esteem couldn’t take it. He has said on several occasions as has his wife: I know more than my staff.
I say he is only above average IQ because I’ve never heard him crack a good joke. Humor is a one good measure of intelligence. (see my videos…kidding sort of)
Granny Jan, I’ve seen nothing to suggest that anyone on his staff is any great shakes. Rahm may have had some street smarts but Samantha Power? Cass Sunnstein? Maybe Daley, but does POTUS listen to Daley or is he in DC to keep him out of Rahm’s way in Chicago? The president’s speech writers are the worst since WWII. Valerie Jarrett? No one of any intellectual stature, or with any cojones, is at the WH. And it shows.
If Bill Ayers says that FDR was fiscally conservative then Obama will “parrot” that FDR was fiscally conservative (or maybe he said “fishily conservative” and they thoought he meant “fiscally”).
This actually makes some sense: FDR campaigned far to the right of Hoover — balancing the budget, reducing the size of government, and so forth. O has made it pretty clear that he thinks if you say something, that’s enough.
I think Dabama IS pretty impressively intelligent. FDR was pretty fiscally conservative if you call Obama middle of the road. And I’m sure we can all agree that He sees Himself as middle of the road fiscally.
Mr. Obama’s references to President Franklin Delano Roosevelt are such monumental lies that even he has difficulty spitting them out.
Mr. Obama’s agenda from his earliest days in office has been to ‘stimulate’ CHAOS in this country via class warfare, racial divisions, re-writing history and general actions that would keep the country from moving ahead.
He is now using the bully pulpit to scare people and extort actions that will continue his agenda to bring America to the level of a third world nation.
I trust that the American people will see through his curtain of lies and threats.
…as for Roosevelt, he spent and spent and finally realized the only way out of the hole he had dug was World War II, maybe that is why Mr. Obama tacitly supports the agendas of Iran , North Korea and Venezuela.
The spending on a global war will bury a lot of his actions…and a lot of Americans, but it may very well be a building block in his agenda…and he doesn’t care if we win it or not, the war itself will break the back of this country as the four we are already in are doing.
