Telegraph: ‘For the public face of the White House to be someone so lacking in gravitas is a PR disaster.’

No kidding.

Oh, you weren’t talking about the president, but just his press secretary? My bad.

The White House press operation should be a well-oiled machine – and under Carney’s predecessor, Robert Gibbs, it sometimes gave the impression of being just that. But with Carney at the helm, it is more like that of a rinky-dink City Hall somewhere in the Deep South. One colleague described Carney’s rabbit-in-the-headlights performance as “sub-Whitehall” – worse, even, than that of a lone British civil servant with a cellphone and a laptop in the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

Anyone want to start a pool on how long we go until Carney gets skidmarks on his back?

I dunno, the Carney-barker’s general level of incompetence seems to be a nice fit for the George Soros’s Amateur Hour administration.

Is he still there? I thought they canned him after he said he was confused about the OBL mission.

    Heh. You said skidmarks.

Hey. Being an old southern ‘girrrl, I’m insulted. We wouldn’t hire him either. Can’t teach an old coon new tricks.

Actually, 6-Potted Palm, I unexpectedly (!) acquired an 11-year old mutt. She learned a whole litany of new tricks and behaviors, including a range of hand signals and complex spoken commands, but then she was a very smart girl.

Carney, however, may simply be untrainable. Perhaps with patience and a pocketful of treats … Nah.
