The Most Transparent Administration in History is facing another lawsuit under the Freedom of Information Act.  This time, the plaintiff is Judicial Watch.   Here is the complaint.  Judicial Watch is suing to obtain the records relating to any NAACP lobbying to have the New Black Panther voter intimidation case dismissed.  Kristen Clarke of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund was purportedly urging DOJ employees that the case should be dismissed and had communications with them about the case.  She denied this multiple times under oath in a deposition conducted by the United States Commission on Civil Rights.  She also denied multiple times knowing that the Voting Section employee identified in documents as “C.C.” was Christopher Coates, a person with whom she had worked many times.  PJ Media reported on the DOJ’s stonewalling of Freedom of Information Act requests from conservatives while friendly groups, like Kristen Clarke at the NAACP, get same day service.  Pajamas ultimately filed a lawsuit against Eric Holder’s Justice Department seeking documents which the Bush DOJ turned over in days.  Over nine months have passed since PJM first requested the documents.
