It's not 1995 anymore

Why did the left’s noxious Tucson narrative fail so spectacularly this week?  Because it’s not 1995 anymore.

Update:  Meanwhile, after President Obama’s speech last night, a speech in which he specifically said that political rhetoric did not cause the Tucson shooting, the contemptible Chris Matthews says that “we can’t exonerate” Sarah Palin “until we know the truth.” Allow me to lay some truth on Matthews: Palin was a couple thousand miles away from Tucson, where an apolitical paranoid schizophrenic murdered six people and wounded 13 more.  Evidently there are absolutely no editorial standards at MSNBC, at all.  If there were, Matthews, who is contributing to an increasingly dangerous climate of hate, would be looking for a new job.
