He’s got a secret

May 11, 2006 - 7:44 am - by Roger L Simon

Actually, he’s probably got a lot of them. (We’re talking about the great l’Escroc here.) If you’re interested in his latest secret, Fausta is, per usual, the place to find out.

UPDATE: As many of you know, the excellent The Shadow of the Olive Tree has been following the Clearstream hijinks as well.

    Thank you Roger!
And the current scandal doesn’t even touch on Chirac avoiding prosecution in 2002 over his exhorbitant food bills (which avearaged 600 euros (£420) a day between 1988 and 1995) from back when he was mayor of Paris because the statute of limitations had ran out, and his mysterious millions.
    Tres cher, that Jacques.

As far as “culture of corruption” goes the French have us beat by a country mile. In for a dime, in for multi millions. Nixon, Cunningham, Haliburton, pikers.
