I have been away all day in Palo Alto on business (stopping by at their CNBC outlet for my five minutes on Kudlow) and did not know until then that there have been difficulties posting coments throughout the day. Thanks to Maestro Charles for stepping in to regulate this. (This problem has happened several times now and I am going to try to put an end to it.) Thanks too to the Secretary General of the United Nations for providing this blog with its first 50,000+ visitor day.

From the Office of the Secretary General
Roger:
You know where to leave the envelope.
ó K.
Roger-
You’re in my neighborhood! I was just getting off of work in Palo Alto when you were on CNBC (which, incidentally, is the only station we get on the in-house satellite feed at the brokerage firm I work for.)
Next time you make your way up north, you should get together with some readers. I’m sure there are quite a few of us who would love to buy you a drink (one of the perks of being a blogger who gets 50,000 hits in one day)!
I know you don’t know me from Adam, but I live in neighboring Menlo Park and dictate my own hours. If Kudlow has you on again I’d love to buy a round (or a lunch or…). I don’t suppose I’m the only local who feels that way.
Regards
Michael
Wow, great minds think alike… and so do ours
I believe we may have just proven each other’s point….
Drop by in the beginning of the month and we can go to Jack in the Box. Do it at the end of the month and it’ll be hot dogs and beans in the park.
BTW, how long do you think it’ll be before the MSM picks up on the story?
Count me in, too; depending on the day, I’m in Mountain View or Menlo Park (on either side of Shallow Alto).
Come to Florida and you can buy me a drink.
Roger sorry about your commenting technology Snafu. It happens to the best of us. But sometimes a silk purse arises from a sow’s ear. With nothing else to do here I went ahead and signed up for the bald tatooed convict fitness program as advertised. I’ve already lost 5 lbs. but I’ve also started losing my hair.
Wallace ó Dude, you shoulda signed up over at LGF. You could be doing your vaguely disturbing, um, “push-ups” over this incredible blonde model…
Roger:
With the number of readers you have it appears that you could spend the rest of your life never having to buy another meal or drinks. Who needs the MSM when you can have a blog.
And should you find yourself in the DC Metro area, I’d love to cook dinner, or at least host a potluck dinner and have other bloggers and commenters over at my place to meet you.
Meanwhile . . . found some pictures taken at that stadium where the Iranian soccer game occured last Friday . . .

Ditto the drink and dinner invite here in NYC, Roger.
Congrats on the 50K day (me and the wife remember when he first threw…uh…kept his hat on in the ring; he gives us such nachas!)
