For centuries, Muslims committed genocide against Hindus in India and what is now Pakistan. Today, in Sudan, Somalia, Nigeria, Kenya, Turkey, Pakistan, Gaza, and Iran, it’s open season on Christians.
Lubna Hussein, the Sudanese journalist who is facing 40 lashes for “indecency” because she wore trousers—has just been barred from leaving Sudan.
Interestingly, Hussein is a Christian, not a Muslim; she is also a former UN worker. (For the sake of this lawsuit, she immediately quit her UN job which would have provided her with immunity from such prosecution). The Sudanese Islamist authorities are not allowing her to do an interview in Lebanon. Sarkozy, who has called for a ban of the burqa in France, has invited Hussein to Paris. Please note: In Sudan, non-Muslim women are being punished if they do not dress according to Islamist standards.

Christians are being slaughtered in Pakistan by Muslim mobs for refusing to convert; for being Christians; and for allegedly setting fire to a Quran. Young Pakistani Christian girls are being kidnapped, raped, “married” to Muslim men and then forced to convert. Recently, a rampaging Muslim mob burned eight Christians alive, destroyed 50 houses and destroyed a church in the village of Gojra.
Earlier this month, Pakistani Christians finally closed their schools and peacefully protested their country’s “blasphemy” laws.
Last week, according to Christian Solidarity Worldwide, a thirteen-year-old Nigerian Christian girl described how the Boko Haram butchered her pastor (hacked him to death, then set him on fire) for the crime of being a Christian. Captured, the girl and 100 other girls and women were given the choice of converting to Islam or remaining imprisoned. Their male counterparts were given the choice of conversion or death.
The local African Christians cannot understand why the western media have “disregarded the targeted nature of (these) attacks and the brutal murders of Christian pastors.”
In bloodthirsty Iran, two women are in jail and on trial—for being Christian, for having dared to convert from Islam. They are apostates and apostasy, (leaving Islam) is a capital offense.

I have been noting the persecution of Christians for some time now. Christianity, which predates Islam in the Middle East and in central Asia, has been under deadly attack from the moment Islam was born. Constantinople was once the capital of Byzantium, Eastern Christianity, but was conquered by Turkish Sultan Mehmet II in the mid-fifteenth century. Thereafter, the most beautiful churches became beautiful mosques, Christians were either converted by the sword, forced to live as second-class citizens, as “dhimmis;” like the Jews, if they were lucky, they were allowed to flee, but only if they left their land, homes, businessness, and wealth behind.
What will happen as more and more fundamentalist Muslims move to the West? The West, despite all its considerable faults for which our leaders keep apologizing, (racism, imperialism, colonialism, capitalism), is nevertheless religiously tolerant and multi-culturally relativist. Will fundamentalist Muslims learn tolerance from us, learn how to live-and-let-live? Or will they keep to themselves and continue to view and treat non-Muslims in the West as…unclean, sub-human, better off dead if not converted?
When will Westerners truly understand that it is not only the West that has engaged in imperialism, racism, colonialism, and capitalism, but that the so-called East has done so too? African and Arab Muslims had a heavy hand in the African slave trade and, to this day, still keep slaves; Islam is a primarily imperialist venture which has colonized huge tracts of other people’s land. And, how would anyone describe the traffic in oil, drugs, and sex slaves which Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan are currently engaged in as anything other than rank capitalism?
But I digress. Will America stand up for religious tolerance abroad or will we view this matter as each country’s sacred, sovereign decision—unless that country is Israel? Yes, ‘tis true: Christians are also persecuted in China, Vietnam, and North Korea—but this is precisely my point. Totalitarian regimes, whether they are communist, Maoist, or Islamist, all forbid freedom of speech and conscience, and always persecute those who choose to practice a religion as opposed to surrendering to the cult of the state.
Will fundamentalist Muslims in America allow their sons and daughters to convert to another religion? Or will they immediately kill them? Stay tuned for more on this very subject.

Christian persecution in the Mid-East (and elsewhere) has been ignored for too long.
The plight of Eastern Orthodox Christianity is a quintessential example of the effects of Muslim persecution. The numerical dominance of the Catholic Church may have little to do with its allegedly possessing the more convincing arguments. No, it just the fact that by the end of the 16th Century the Church of Rome’s adherents were rarely under direct attack by Muslim armies.

Of COURSE they won’t! They never have. Islam does not allow for assimilation under any circumstances.

That is EXACTLY what they will do. They are commanded by their holy book to do so.

Not only is that EXACTLY what America will do, they will — indeed, they are already — allowing for persecution of Jews and Christians within their own boarders.

They will do as they have done for the past 1400 years; they will kill anyone who is not a musilm, whether sons, daughters, family, or friends.
This is a subject that SO needs to be fully aired. What is happening is beyond despicable, it is almost unspeakable. It’s been going on since Islam’s founding, but the difference now is communication. There is no need any longer for the truth to be suppressed – unless we lose the will to speak it.
As always, the movement will come from the bottom, as our main media outlets are too busy licking Obama’s boots to trifle with such things as Christians being slaughtered wholesale by those nice Muslims.

Phyllis, there is a collection of volumes called the “Christian History Project”, and it pulls no punches regarding the rampaging hordes who stormed out of the Arabian Peninsula.
When that is combined with the writings of Joel Richardson, and commentaries on “The Abolition of Man”, there is a lot for the truly progressive to defend themselves against those who would have the world return to the world before “Lech Lechka”.
For, where is the room for different groups to
call timeless universal custom by different names, within Islam? About as much room as Lenin, Trotsky, and the earliest hordes who marched under the hammer & sickle had for the Romanov’s.
I’d always wondered why Spanish Catholicism was so violent and blood soaked, with even its iconography and religious art depicting violence, bloodshed and suffering the way no other forms of Catholic art did.
The conquistadors, too, were extremely violent and merciless in ways British and French colonists never were.
I think that colonialsim and imperialism are at heart Muslim constructs, and so it is no coincidence that it was the heavily Arab-influenced Spanish who kicked off European colonialism.
Up until then Christianity had been spread peacefully, but when post-Arab Spaniards burst onto the scene, the tone, the objectives and especially the conversion methods used by Roman Catholicism had been fundamentally altered, “islamicised” to some extent.
That’s not to deny, for example, the many violent, anti-smeitic pogroms in Northern Europe, nor the tragic fate of the Cathars which all happened prior to the conquistadors, but exposure to Islam definately had a negative impact on Christianity.

Darkness hates light. Exposing evil helps to prevent evil. That mainstream media deliberately ignore these terrible crimes by Islam against humanity is clearly because they don’t want to prevent evil.

I feel that Muslim attacks on Christians worldwide, in conjunction with the Muslim states (mostly) forbidding the teaching of Christianity, show how bankrupt its teachings are. America welcomes Muslims from all nations, yet – most Muslim states will not allow Christianity to be taught in their countries. Can Islam not stand on its own teachings without suppressing (or oppressing) those of a different view? “Force a man against his will, and he’s of the same opinion still.” Coerced outward conformity can never change the heart.

Not all Muslims or Others are same. Muslims have many Sectsand groups inside Sects, there is no concept of toture in any case in True Religion. Studies tells, that means those who do are not True religous, either Muslim or belongs to any other religion.
Jesus himself said that if they persecuted him, surely people will persecute those who believe in him. Revelations shows us that in the end times Christians would again be trialed and persecuted for his names sake. Those Christian girls understand and portray this by resisting to convert, despite the torture they endure. Sometimes in today’s world we forget to regard our Bibles but if you are truly Christian you must believe in the greater good of the Lord and just trust that He is coming back to us real soon. We need more media coverage for the Christian message that God is coming soon to save his righteous followers. These girls will be saved by the grace of their Lord, but we must remember that God wants our spirits, not our bodies. Peace be with all God’s children.
