A Note to Readers

Some of you have complained about delays in posting your comments, and it is entirely my fault.  I have to approve comments, and very rarely I find one that is so totally composed of personal insults, either for me or for other commenters, that I delete it.

I have a day job, which takes me offline for hours on end.  I clear the comments as quickly as I can.  Bear with me.

Furthermore, I am getting a new hip in two weeks, so I probably will be sleeping for a bit, heh.  Bear with me.

PJ Media appreciates your comments that abide by the following guidelines:

1. Avoid profanities or foul language unless it is contained in a necessary quote or is relevant to the comment.

2. Stay on topic.

3. Disagree, but avoid ad hominem attacks.

4. Threats are treated seriously and reported to law enforcement.

5. Spam and advertising are not permitted in the comments area.

These guidelines are very general and cannot cover every possible situation. Please don't assume that PJ Media management agrees with or otherwise endorses any particular comment. We reserve the right to filter or delete comments or to deny posting privileges entirely at our discretion. Please note that comments are reviewed by the editorial staff and may not be posted immediately. If you feel your comment was filtered inappropriately, please email us at story@pjmedia.com.

No complaints and good luck. Thanks.

I enjoy your postings, and learn a lot from them. Best of luck with new hip. Just today I got a checkup on a new hip I got 14 years ago, and it’s still going great. Best thing I ever did, health-wise. The first week or so of recovery was painful, but thereafter it’s been a medical wonder: perfect comfort, as much flexibility as I ever had. Don’t run/jog any more, but no problem at all with other activities (walking, biking, swimming). The only nuisance is triggering the alarm every time I go through airport screening.

Mr. Ledeen, thank you for your tireless efforts on this bracing issue. Good luck with your upcoming surgery. A few pearls if you would indulge: 1. Use the pain medication you are offered, and if you are in pain demand to be medicated…you must be your own advocate. 2. Get up and on your feet as soon as possible (not possible if you are hurting) this will only benefit you in the long run. Best wishes!

Mr. Ledeen, I hope I didn’t come off sounding like a whiner or complainer. I was just trying to figure out how to get my posts to go through and oddball things would stop a post of mine. I noticed using numbers next to names also cause my posts to not ‘make’ it through.

God bless you and I’ll pray for your operation to be a wonderful success. *DO* get plenty of rest so that you can heal. Also, vitamin C and zinc supplements are great immune system boosters.

P.S. I’m terrified of hospitals. [I tried to tell you I 'h-a-t-e' hospitals but that word didn't go through lol].

  6. Just do the exercise regimen they put on you. That’s a really big deal.

A LOT AND A LOT AND A LOT A LOT OF GOOD HEALTH.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Thank your lucky stars you aren’t living under socialized medicine…yet. With your politics, I’m sure you would be found ineligible for treatment.

Re: Amadhi-nejad’s invitation to Obama for a televised meeting, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that Obama will make a counter invitation of some sort, is it?
