The proverbial “the only thing that can stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun” comes to life.

Jon Lewis Alexander is an Iraq veteran currently working in a liquor store in Marionville, MO. A robber asks for money as he attempts to pull a gun, but Alexander pushes the robber’s arm down and draws his own gun. The description below the YouTube video explains that Alexander told the robber to leave before he would “blow his (expletive deleted) head off.”

Am I alone in thinking/hoping that Iraq and Afghanistan veterans turn out to be a subgeneration of heroes for decades to come?

So; This perp just went to the next liquor store where he was successful in not only robbing the place, but pistol whipping the cashier because the last cashier insulted him.
How many are incarcerated for "ATTEMPTED ROBBERY"?
How many victims will this parasite leave before he is eliminated?

Actually, that robber is very lucky that that guy didn't feel like washing the robber's brains off the walls.

I have a feeling his military training prevented him from pretending "self defense" and dropping him. He did it the right way; applied only exactly enough force to defuse the threat. He is a hero all the way through. Too bad this clip will never hit the mainstream media.

It would not have been "pretend". It would have been a perfectly legitimate self defense shooting to have followed his draw with opening fire.
