The director of “The Matrix” and the highly-anticipated film “Cloud Atlas” has become the first major Hollywood director to publicly come out as transgender.
Lana Wachowski revealed she has transitioned while promoting her new film, the New York Post reported.
Lana has been transitioning for years now, the Post also reported. This new clip for “Cloud Atlas,” starring Tom Hanks and Halle Berry, appears to be her first public appearance since transitioning.
In the trailer, Lana introduces the film with her brother, Andy Wachowski, and director Tom Tykwer.
“Hi, I’m Lana,” she says with her hair styled in pink dreadlocks.
Lana’s personal life has been a source of headline fodder for years now.

Even if every one of the seven some odd billion people on the planet was willing to buy into his delusion that he’s a woman, there’s something like 75 trillion cells in his body with a Y chromosome saying “no, sorry, you’re a man”.
No wonder the Matrix movies got progressively worse, coinciding with the director’s “transition.”

Political correctness is the opposite of science fiction since SF pierces perception not pollutes it. Dress this movie however you want, all I see is a platoon of Marines marching in lockstep. The advantage Marines have is they know they’re wearing uniforms.
I expect the sequel will be about white privilege where a black man and a white exchange bodies and expose America for the gulag it really is.
I frequently thank God for the fact that I have the basics down. It astounds me that there are people who spend the majority of their lives wondering about the rudimentary elements of life. “But WHYYYY do I have to put food in my mouth? WHYYYY can’t I put it in my ear instead?” And the only “cure” for their unsettled thoughts is to delve into a ridiculous delusion. That’s called mental illness.
Larry, you’re messed up. We need to find a cure for your brain fever, and getting the whole damned world to play along with your masquerade is NOT a cure.
chill out guys, let lana/larry do whatever she wants as long as shes following the law and not harming anyone else…freedom is about letting people do what they want within the law, even if its something that you or someone else may think is “silly”…why should you care?

It always astounds me that the liberal/progressive elites tell us it is a shocking outrage to think that someone who wants to change their “sexual orientation” is something between a Nazi and a moron, while people like this nitwit are lauded for their courage in expressing their true self. I agree, this person is still a man despite what plastic surgery and hormonal therapy may have done for his outward appearance.

Oh my god, that face. Why would anyone want an advance ticket to being on menwholooklikeoldlesbians.com? That face and voice is so devoid of expression or nuance it’s like the purest expression of degradation. That’s the face that people normally only end up with after age or repeated distressing experiences or too many Botox injections, a sort of universal endpoint for what’s left when you grind all attractive features away through abuse or disuse.
Don’t know much about what that face and voice is thinking, but I’ll hazard a guess that it’ll never break into song, give orders and inspire obedience in a crisis, or look on its own child in love. And that, ultimately, is what’s so tragic about the “trans” community, quite apart from their political meddling and creation of human wreckage: reduction of people to a minimal standard of “acceptance” that’s ugly, depressing, and bereft of inspiration.

That doesn’t account for those who draw no attention to themselves and live productive lives. You probably don’t notice them, after all; they aren’t all busy telling you what pronouns you need to use in order to address them in the personal majesty they see fit. And while we’re out lambasting the psychiatric establishment, consider for a fleeting moment that beyond self-delusions and a radical political agenda, they might be motivated by mere compassion. The world isn’t as simple as a 10-32 hex nut and people are given the liberty to be born into it and to decide not to like it or the circumstances of their being here. You don’t get many mental conditions as simple as tranny – it’s a boon, if it fixes the problem go with it……….

There’s a reason that parents who want their boys to be girls start the hormone therapy at Age 5 now. They’ll actually be able to look convincing. You never will.
As a person who fortunately had parents who lovingly beat common sense and responciblity into me, I know this to be a mentally ill person who has no lines. You know, those lines we all subconsciously have around us we wont step over.
As a christian who believes the bible is the literal manual on every facet of life, I know this to be demonic. This person and those like him are reprobate, having no conscious, they are the epitome of evil and their perverse inclinations are divers.
Transgenderism is postmodern flesh sculpture: the perfect “progressive” dream; the ultimate denial of reality, and the ultimate triumph of “feelings” over fact.
It is also a confession of fraudulence by the psychiatric establishment; “We cannot address this, so we will decree it healthy and assist you in self-mutilation in support of your delusion.” If someone believed they were Napoleon with all their might, they still would not be Napoleon; the same is true of someone who believes themself to be of a different gender.
Transgenderism is also the ultimate negation of the “gay and proud” line pushed by the gay-rights activists. It is, however, embraced and promoted by gay-rights activists as the stealth door to same-sex marriage.
How about a response from the author on this? I posted a comment 3 days and it hasn’t shown up. It was in full compliance with PJ Media’s posting policy, yet it is nowhere to be seen.

I’ve seen less “convincing-looking” women whom I know for a fact were born with the correct set of genes in the 23rd pair- XX. (In fact, I’m related to a few on my mother’s side.)
But those dreadlocks definitely aren’t working for her. I’d suggest a pageboy or a straight fall.
Transgenderism is a serious issue. One of the best books on the subject is actually an SF novel; The Identity Matrix by Jack L. Chalker. I definitely recommend it.
