From the trailer’s reference to the sun I suspect Grant Morrison’s All-Star Superman served as an influence.
As seriously as the Batman films explored darkness, will this new Superman film provide an inspiring vision of goodness and the light of our highest ideals?
I confess, with who is Directing and Producing I’m excited for it.
With that said, am I the only one who wondered when they first saw the beginning why they were watching a History Channel advertisement for some new reality-fishing show?
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Hollywood and it’s addiction to remakes is proof that insanity is profitable. They will make money on this movie,no doubt, and maybe that’s the only result they need.I just wonder when will the human sheep figure out that their human shepards look upon them as livestock and not as lives? But then again, sheep don’t think, do they?
With all the great Sci-Fi and Fantasy fiction available, they can’t find something new? HBO seems to have struck gold with Game of Thrones, why can’t the rest of Hollywood take a trip to the local library and find some good exciting stories? (To be fair, there have been some good ones – Master and Commander, and the Naria Series come to mind)
Do not worry. Rest well, knowing that it will be ‘The Greatest Comic Book Movie Ever,’ as were the recent ‘The Avengers’ and ‘Dark Knight Rises.’
I dunno. Is this the same Superman who renounced his US citizenship in front of the UN ’bout a year ago in DC comics? =’[.]‘=
