● “I serve as a blank screen,” Obama writes, “on which people of vastly different political stripes project their own views.”

— From Froma Harrop’s article titled, “Obama Scores as Exotic Who Says Nothing,” Real Clear Politics, December 26, 2006.

When you’ve spent your entire life shape-shifting your identity to fit your environment, when you’re a postmodernist who views reality as fungible, when your media acolytes have compared you to JFK, FDR and Lincoln — before you’ve taken office, even as they simultaneously admit that even they don’t know what the heck you really stand for — you don’t get to claim that someone is calling you “fictional.”

As with the bill for the enormous mountain of debt that Obama has run up, the bill for his sleight-of-hand with the truth is coming due as well.
