Actual CNN headline, screencapped in case they change it:

Dear CNN, please show me any headline that uses the word “pissing” in reference to a Democratic governor, or, heaven forfend, the president.
Thanks,
Ed

Update: Welcome Hot Air, Free Republic, Big Journalism and Insta-readers!

I went to CNN and checked out the article.
It’s hardly a “pissing match”. The two states are competing with each other to attract business and therefor jobs. We need more of this kind of competition.
I’m not surprised that CNN would call it a pissing match, though, considering how the left demonizes business.
John…
Here’s a headline for you..
All The Democrat States And Cities That Are Bankrupt!!!
I was going to list them all but cut down the headline due to lack of space..
Cut out the word “That” in your headline and you’re golden!
Of course, “states competing with each other to attract business” was the whole idea behind having a Republic of sovereign states, each free to experiment with different approaches to governance as they saw fit. Or am I missing something?
The alternate headline was “Why do we even have to run a story about two f@&$!?king redneck states and their minimum wage jobs in the first place?” But they cut it down due to a lack of space.
You stay classy, John.
Didn’t think I’d have to put the /s tag after that post, but…
/s
You have no knowledge of Texas evidently. Cost of living is lower, pay pretty darned good–even for someone without a college degree.
lmao….wouldn’t expect anything less!
God Bless Fox News.
CNN frequently tries to manipulate opinion with its headlines:

Are you so sure this is partisan? Maybe they talk to their kids this way.
One supposition does not preclude the other.
CNN pandering to their base again.
The only reference to “pissing” that CNN could show would be how Democrats treat American citizens and our allies.
And then they try to tell us it’s raining.
And we have to give all of our stuff to the poor people who didn’t get the rain.
Breaking:
‘Led by President Obama Democrats are Pissing All Over America’
Well, not exactly breaking…..
The civility angle didn’t last long, did it?
You mean they didn’t have a headline “Obama Pisses All Over Israel”??
That’s because modern culture hasn’t quite sunk low enough to where CNN could remotely get away with “Obama 5h!t$ all over Israel.”
It wasn’t #1, it was #2!
Just looking at that picture of Governor Scott reminds me that I think it’d be great to do a research study that analyzes media bias by looking at the pictures newspapers use of politicians. Namely, do left-leaning news sources use more flattering pictures of left-leaning politicians and less flattering ones of right-leaning politicians?
The very first line: “Call it the battle of the Ricks” It’s just one letter of from what they really wanted to say
Classey? HA! Glass houses. Pajamas media I challenge you to hire some young male interviewers. I have not seen a single young man on your web site conduct an interview. You’re extremely sexist in using only dumb valley gurrls as your I bet you can’t and won’t get classey.
As Nigel Tufnel said in Spinal Tap, what’s wrong with being sexy?
Spinal Tap’s manager is a treasure, I need to look him up on IMDb.
That’s Tony Hendra, who among other things, was the editor of Spy magazine in its later years.
Fred – if you post is any example, maybe it’s because they can actually construct a sentence that makes sense. Still trying to figure out your last sentence….
Sounds like someone got turned down for a job. I smell sour grapes.
And it’s “classy,” not “classey.” Glass houses, don’tcha know.
Fred, you should read up on the psychological phenomenon of projection. It’s a pattern of behavior in which you accuse others of committing sins that you know YOU are guilty of. For example, a man who assumes all young, attractive women are “dumb” and stereotypes them as “valley gurrls”, while attacking the employers of those women as “sexist”, is clearly engaging in projection. It’s painfully obvious to everyone.
Also, before lecturing the rest of us on what is and isn’t “classey”, you should make sure you have some understanding of what the word means. Here are some hints: Classy people don’t whine and throw tantrums in public. They don’t spew juvenile insults. They don’t embarrass themselves by making libelous accusations supported by no evidence at all. And classy people write well, which means their writing isn’t peppered with misspelled words and errors of punctuation and grammar.
@11, Joseph, you’re answer can be found in the almost daily shots of Obama with the stupid halo around his head.
Paid employees of George Soros at CNN earn their money with this type of “reporting.”
If you are dumb enough to allow the poison of the Lamestream Media into your mind you deserve to be angry, confused, and personally insulted. Don’t watch it and shame anyone that does watch it. Don’t watch it ironically. You wouldn’t accept the National Enquirer or Hustler as a source, CNN and others should be treated with the same contempt as Hustler.
When was the last time any of the breaking news on TV turned out to be very important in the first hour of you learning about it? Most breaking news is news that is a few days old but which the cadres of hairsprayed Ted Baxters have just arrived on scene and finished their air checks before telling the audience what their producer or the local stringer told them to say.
If you found out about the Japanese tsunami a day later than everyone else, so what? How is you life harmed if you find out bin Laden was killed 24-48 hours after the rest of the world?
We have countless 24 hours news networks and about 50% of their content is “we have 10 seconds to commercial” or the splashy audio and graphics to warn you they are changing subjects.
Read a book, surf the web. TV will make you stupid and anxious.
Did you know Obama killed Bin Laden? No? Wait until Barry speaks before his selected media again. He’ll tell you all about his SEAL experiences.
“You wouldn’t accept the National Enquirer or Hustler as a source . . .”
How quickly they forget. The National Enquirer broke the story of John Edwards’s extramarital affair and out-of-wedlock child. CNN, the New York Times, and the rest of the MSM knew about it, but chose not to report it.
But even once the Enq broke the story, it took a long time for “the country” to accept it, and even today some few still don’t.
What about “California and Illinois is unemployment pissing match”, huh CNN?
Darn you BooMushroom, you beat me to that…. I thought I was being clever, mine was going to be “California and New York in ebt card and unemployment business pissing match”, but Illinois would do just fine. Especially being the adopted home of the welfare pres.
Who watches CNN? How many Useful Idiots do these D-rat propagandists fool? My guess is, not too many. Here’s a headline for their headline: “CNN Anchor Unzips Stream of Media Bias, Comes Up Last.”
