At the Nation, “In a Year of Deep Disappointments, The Deepest: Obama Pledged to Protect Internet Freedom; But His FCC Put It At Risk.”

Meanwhile, “Guantanamo is but one example of Obama’s fondness for the grand gesture and the glib dismissal of everything his predecessor did without a plan for dealing with the thorny issues behind them.”

Governing, like math, is hard.

Last week the stone-cold communist Governor of Hawaii said he’s releasing barry’s BC, now the Nation starts in on him the same day that the meme that Joe Biden is the “Real Brains” of the operation comes out in the LA Times.

The left has fallen out of love, and it’s Trotsky time…

Beware the ides of January, Barack.

Losing the 9/11 Truther fringe vote because one of their camera crews was accosted probably isn’t going to hurt Barack much, and the big media’s already treating the incident with the Secret Service and with Hawaii K-0 as a non-issue. Though if you harken back to the distance past of 2005-06 and Cindy Sheehan and her group camped out in Crawford, the obvious question comes up of “Can you imagine how the media would have reacted if the Secret Service and the local sheriff’s office had done this to a public access TV group with Truther leanings outside the Bush ranch?” And, of course, the answer is pretty obvious as well.
