SF Weekly, while running smack dab into the Butterfield Effect, at least arrives at an inescapable conclusion:  “It’s time to face facts: San Francisco is spectacularly mismanaged and arguably the worst-run big city in America.”

I dunno — Detroit and Newark, NJ might quibble, but still, glad we’ve finally reached bipartisan consensus on the horrific fate of a one-party town.
