Kate of Small Dead Animals writes, “Now is the time at SDA when we juxtapose!”
Carol Platt Liebau (Harvard Law Review), February 20th – “[Tom Pirelli] did most of the day to day work. Barack Obama was nowhere to be seen. Occasionally he would drop in he would talk to people, and then he’d leave again as though his very arrival had been a benediction in and of itself, but not very much got done.”
CNN Political Ticker, July 21st – One Democratic senator tells CNN congressional Democrats are “baffled,” and another senior Democratic source tells CNN members of the president’s own party are still “frustrated” that they’re not getting more specific direction from him on health care. “We appreciate the rhetoric and his willingness to ratchet up the pressure but what most Democrats on the Hill are looking for is for the president to weigh in and make decisions on outstanding issues…”

Meanwhile, in a shocking development, an on-air personality at NBC discards her Olympian distance and objectivity, as Dr. Nancy Snyderman, the Peacock Network’s medical correspondent admits, “I Was Rooting for the President to Hit a Home Run” during his dog and unicorn show Wednesday night.

“…but not very much got done.”
Oh my goodness, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. It has long been obvious that Barack Obama never had the slightest interest in doing the ho-hum routine work of the typical executive. This stuff bores him to death. That is another reason why I adamantly believe he will resign before finishing his term. The odds are at least 50/50 that the current occupant of the White House will experience a mental breakdown. The whole Obama phenomenon is bizarre. He is probably the most unprepared president in our nation’s history. We can hope hope that the eventual transfer of power to Joe Biden goes relatively smooth. In the meantime, we must also worry about Obama getting ahold of the red telephone.
What would’ve been nice is if the MSM had fone it’s job and pointed this out in oh…say…August 2008.
