Boardwalk Empire Season 3 Capsule Review

I’ve only just finished the second episode of the third season, but any time Margaret (Kelly Macdonald) is on screen without Nucky, I fast-forward. She’s always been a one-note character, furrowing her brow at whatever and looking consternated. But now all she does is furrow her brow and look consternated at crap that doesn’t move the overall story anywhere.

What a buzzkill.

Everything else is more or less up to par, and Bobby Cannavale is a welcome addition as the new heavy.

Just skip all the stuff with Margaret.
