Raúl Castro will be elected as the new president of Cuba, two new agencies reported from Havana Sunday, quoting members of the National Assembly meeting to vote on the post.

OK, so maybe the news isn’t all that surprising. Fidel’s beady-eyed Beria of a brother has been unofficially running the country since 2006.
