Lunchtime Newsflash

Two items via Drudge.

The first is a possbily meaningless and possibly important report that the number of soldiers we have in Kuwait has doubled recently to about 8,000. Sarge warned us before about not reading too much into these deplyments, but it’s interesting nonetheless.

Oh, and when (if?) the Iraq campaign comes, I’m still betting on no more than 20,000-30,000 US & UK ground soldiers.

The second Drudge item is simply revolting. Israeli bookies are taking bets on the time and location of the next suicide bombing.
