For years I’ve been told, “Steve, you have to watch Buffy. You’ll love it.”

I knew they were right, but I never bothered. I’m just not much of a TV guy. I catch the two decent shows on NBC’s Thursday night lineup, The Sopranos during its short run each year, and that’s enough for me.

Unless you give me something on DVD. Tonight, I watched the first two episodes of Buffy. And I’ve learned two important things. First, everyone was right. I do love Buffy. Second, Charisma Carpenter is a love goddess, who needs to start spending some serious time sitting on my lap.
