Still No Worse Than One in Five

George Will has an excellent column in the new Newsweek. But statements like this probably carried more weight when he wrote it last week:

Such parochial worries pale in the shadow of two bitterly hostile nations with nuclear daggers drawn. U.S. officials surely are making contingency plans for responding to perhaps 20 million deaths from a nuclear exchange between India and Pakistan.
