Joe's family knew he had dementia and ran him for president anyway and Hunter Biden alludes to as much in his text messages. Welcome to the latest edition of This Day in Hunter Biden's Laptop here at PJ Media, where we remind you that speculation Joe Biden has dementia has been percolating since 2012.
And we pause here to remind you of the media narrative built around The Big Guy's obvious mental infirmities, which, if you're like me, you saw coming from a mile away.
It isn't Joe Biden's age, it's that he can't think straight. Don't buy the media's conflation of senility and dementia with being "too old." The media conflated the two because it serves their lazy purpose of "both-siding" the issue. That narrative change has always been about Getting Trump if they can't have Joe — and don't you forget it.
The special counsel's devastating report of how Biden "willfully retained and disclosed classified materials" of the most sensitive kind but wouldn't be charged because "it would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him-by then a former president well into his eighties-of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness" is a tidy way to give his family a way to bow out of the White House and also to keep Joe from facing charges related to him personally benefiting from his family's business relationships with Ukraine, Russia, Romania, Kazakstan, and China by monetizing his influence. You can take that to the bank, too.
It didn't have to be this way, you know. Joe Biden didn't have to run for president. His family knew of his mental infirmities but Jill and company wanted to keep brother Jim and son Hunter's grift going.
In the "Report on the Hunter Biden Laptop" by nonprofit Marco Polo, "Hunter knew that Joe had dementia and urged him to run anyway." Indeed, Hunter's Chinese honeypot, his former colleague at the CCP-connected entity, Hundson West III, Baio Jia Qui, urged Hunter to encourage "Uncle Joe" to run for president.
She urged Hunter not to be "distracted by random media articles. You need to help Uncle Joe run for President. Your father really should run for 2020 for this country. He will be one of the best presidents in our country's history!"
In October 2012, Hunter's psychiatrist, Dr. Keith Ablow, said on Fox News that Joe Biden had a few mental pistons misfire during the 2012 vice presidential debate. Far left website Think Progress wrote about what Ablow said, which was that Joe Biden was either senile or drunk.
I did not evaluate Joe Biden, but if someone said to me, we want you to do what’s really required to know what happened there, you have to put dementia on the differential diagnosis. You have to say, bizarre laughter, interrupting. If this were your dad or your grandfather, wouldn’t you say if you brought him to me, Keith, you’ve got to tell me, is he suffering with dementia? Because he can’t seem to listen, he’s laughing inappropriately.[…]I’m not diagnosing him. I haven’t evaluated him, but psychological testing is anybody’s guess what it would show. Not knowing every fact isn’t required to diagnose dementia and I’m not saying he has it. I’m saying you put it on the differential. Impulsivity, that’s part of it, and command of the facts…I’m speaking as a psychiatrist today, you didn’t call me in as a political strategist. So, you’d want his alcohol level. Why? Because he was that bizarre.
It was what Hunter Biden said to his own psychiatrist later that — to use weasel words — seemed to confirm Joe's dementia. In 2019, Ablow and Hunter Biden were planning a podcast together. "Dad is our first guest," texted Hunter.
Ablow: Does he recall details tho, with the dementia and all?
Hunter: Not much these days, but since it's all fake news and anyway I don't see the problem.
Ablow: Is he a go for sure—running?
Hunter: According to inside sources which I can neither confirm nor deny he is in it to win it.
According to the Report on the Hunter Biden Laptop Hunter spoke again about Joe's apparent senility in another set of texts.
Ablow: Your dad is the answer [for Democrat nominee]. I just hope he lets me keep my guns.
Hunter: But as a great reporter once said incorrectly of my dad "joe Biden is nothing more than the empty vessel filled oat caddell's madness. pat caddell's genius.
Ablow: Any man who can triumph over dementia is a giant. Think of what he could do for our nation's needed recovery. Dr. Keith Ablow
Hunter: ...You're such an asshole but that made me laugh out loud.
Ablow: Perhaps he can help us remember all we intended to be as a people since he can now remember his address. I wanna be Surgeon General. So I will help, in any way, cause I love the family.
Hunter: He doesn't need to where he lives Keith that's the only thing thing the secret service get right at least 75% of the time.
Hunter knew that Joe was too mentally fragile to be in the Oval Office but "didn't see the problem" with it. Besides, Hunter wanted Joe to run to seek redemption for being such a "fu** up."
What could possibly go wrong?
