Fourth NYPD Officer This Year Shot and Killed

#BlueLivesMatter

An NYPD officer has died after being shot in East Harlem Tuesday night responding to a report of a shooting, authorities said at a press conference.

Officials said that the five-year-veteran housing officer — identified as Randolph Holder, 33, a native of Guyana — was responding to a report of a shooting near 102nd Street.

After that he approached a group near a footbridge on the FDR Drive and a chase followed. One of the members of the group was on a bicycle.

Near 120th Street the officer was shot in the forehead.

The year isn’t over yet, but police officer deaths by gunfire are already tied with 2013, and it’s only October. There had been a downward trend in recent years then the Ferguson lie blew up in America’s face.

It’s important to remember that, no matter how easy it is to be dismayed with various Republicans at any given time, only one party’s presidential candidates are kowtowing to a noted anti-police movement.
