A Fox News reporter got into a physical confrontation with the Reverend Al today as he tried to query the Baltimore mayor about the allegations that she gave a stand-down order to the police Monday night.
Leland Vittert, who broke the story yesterday, tried to get some answers while Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and Sharpton were walking by.
“We can’t ask questions?” Vittert asked. “You are a public official…”
Sharpton, acting as the mayor’s spokesperson, answered, “You will have the opportunity.”
“Then you’ll answer our questions?” the reporter pressed.
“At the press conference, we will answer all questions,” Sharpton answered.
As Vittert continued to tail them, a member of the mayor’s security detail stepped between Vittert and the mayor and began pushing him away.
Sharpton also appeared to swat the reporter away, saying, “Relax! Relax!” as Vittert fell back and yelled “Whoa!”
