CNN: The Nabbed Benghazi Suspect Was 'Not a man in hiding'

The Obama administration is crowing today about the capture of Ahmed Abu Khattala in Libya. Khattala is suspected of leading the assault on the US facility in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012, an assault that killed four Americans including Ambassador Christopher Stevens.

CNN’s Arwa Damon found and interviewed Khattala in Libya last year. Khattala, she says, was easy to find then and was not in hiding since.

Damon says that when she interviewed Khattala in 2013, he did not act like a hunted man. Khattala, she says, even said that he was willing to speak with American investigators.

He is speaking with them now. He is reportedly being held in international waters on a US Navy ship, and will be moved to the United States for trial.
